Lockeport Inn

"It took us a little bit to find the place as we didn’t quite know what we were looking for. Lockeport is a very small town. The room itself was comfortable and cozy. I thought perhaps the bath towels could be bigger, they were a bit on the small side. We weren’t told that there would be no open restaurants (we were there in October) so we went to the convenience store and bought what we could for our evening meal. The store does have a cook who will prepare something for you but that day she was away for a family emergency."

"Owners were very accommodating. Anything that needed their attention was dealt with immediately. The beds were very comfortable and the location on the beach was amazing."

"Wonderfully quiet location on a beautiful beach. Beautiful cottage with plenty of room for a large group. Lovely neighbours. We enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed the beach and water. Our kids spent many days building sand castles and splashing in the waves. And we enjoyed the beach. Very quiet location. Great home base for our time in Nova Scotia. The cottage was well stocked and the host included enough “basics” (shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Toilet paper, laundry soap, dish soap, etc) for the entire stay, which was very much appreciated. House was clean and I appreciated that the host left cleaning supplies so we could sweep up and clean bathrooms during our stay. I also really appreciated the washer and drier - kids at the beach means laundry everyday! The house and kitchen are well stocked but could use a few things: number one is new pillows. All the beds need new pillows. And a teapot would be handy (super minor, but we are all tea drinkers and we sorely missed having a teapot). Overall, a lovely property and a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay again."

"The place had everything to enjoy a quick couple nights stay. Bed was comfortable. Furnitures, specially the chairs and sofa were bit old and needs maintenance. Loved barbecue availability in all cottages and even for motel rooms."

"This was exactly what we need! They accommodated our every need, even welcoming our small dog. Our cottage was clean, well equipped and plenty of space for all. Everything was exactly as they described so the only surprise was how truly beautiful it is. Thank you."
