Loved our lodge.

Loved our lodge. We were two friends holidaying together, so it was just perfect for us.It was equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. The showers were the only small issue we had . The shower in the ensuite was difficult to control and the first time of using it was scalding as I didn't understand the controls. The shower in the main bathroom had fluctuating temperatures and again, not perfect.I think the ensuite shower needs replacing with a more user friendly system and possibly the same for the main bathroom. Other than that we would have given 5 stars for the lodge.

We have stayed in the Pemberley before and really liked it.

We have stayed in the Pemberley before and really liked it. The layout and big terrace are great.However, this lodge ( lodge 32) was not up to the usual standard. It was shabby and various things needed attention ( eg the extractor fan in the bathroom, there was some mould around shower and fraying carpets). Whilst superficially clean the lodge needed a real deep clean - blinds etc felt grubby. The site's lodges are described as luxury - lodge 32 certainly wasn't. We would stay in a Pemberley again but not lodge 32

Spacious house

Nice spacious house just outside Bath. Clean, free gym, complete, friendly staf, busstop nearby. Good price for what you get.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat

Our lodge was ready ahead of time and i was able ro check in early. The reception staff were efficient and friendly The lodge was beautifully prepared and lovely and bright. We were three friends spending a weekend catching up with each other and the lodge and location were perfect. Very relaxing park and right on the edge of Bath for easy access to the city and to other lovely towns in the area. Woukd definitely book again. Or try one of the otger parks dotted around the country.

We love staying at Bath Mills Lodge Retreat, and will be going back again. However, there are a few things I feel could be improved on. The main thing after this stay was cleanliness of the lodge. Check out time is 10am, which I feel is very early given that most hotels are 11am, however, that leaves 6 hours before the next guests check in. My husband put a dark item of clothing on the top shelf and when he removed it, it was covered in thick dust. There was a terrible smell in the en-suite bathroom and always had to keep the door closed. The blinds in the kitchen had splashes of something greasy all over them and plates in cupboards had crumbs on them. We had a pet with us but there was no gate on the decking area which we have had on every other stay. The lights on the extractor fan lights were not working- would not stay on.
