St. Mary's is located in a stunning area at the park boundary. The scenery is spectacular and access to the park is exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The lodge was closing in two days; some amenities and food options were not available. The rooms we stayed in were small, cramped and had not been updated for many years. The grounds were not well maintained.
Super nice staffs. I don’t need help with anything, just sensing a nice, calm mannerism that I rarely sense nowaday.
The hotel is okay. Nice, clean and served its purpose. I take that over camping 😊
Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We wished there would have been more nights available that we could have stayed…. We only had 1 night that was available during our time at Glacier Park.
Our room was very clean with an amazing view on the 3rd floor. Our kids loved playing in the slower current part of the creek behind the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze.
The room was large, and the view off the balcony was AMAZING! This was one of the most convenient places you could stay on the east side of GNP. Staff was attentive and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again if we ever came back to the park and would highly recommend it to others.
Get the cabin! Sitting on the porch next to the river was amazing!

Excellent location just outside the East Glacier entrance to the national park. Easy access to Many Glacier and Two Medicine areas as well. Our 3rd floor room in the Grand Lodge building had a large balcony where we could enjoy amazing views of a river and the mountains in the park - best at sunset and sunrise. Room was a bit dated but with a comfortable bed, reclining chair, desk, Nespresso machine, and mini fridge. Maintenance quickly resolved reported issues with squeaky bathroom door and replacement light bulb. A couple of negatives… old, stained rug; mildewy grout around the tub and between some tile; housekeeping does minimal work (emptied trash cans and replaced towels - didn’t make beds, replace dirty coffee mugs or other items in coffee station).
Absolutely beautiful view. Very comfortable room. The staff in the dining facility was less than friendly otherwise excellent stay. Only had the privilege of eating at the dining facility once as there time frame did not accommodate our glacier viewing schedule . Parking was always a challenge
Very convenient location at the entrance to. national park. Room was small and basic. Main lodge had spacious lounge and restaurant but fireplace not working and the publishes dinner hours at the restaurant were cut short (w/out notice).
Perfect location to Glacier Park. Nice views. Enjoyable browsing in shops staffed with friendly people. Pricey.
Buffet breakfast was nice but expensive - unfortunately most of the hot food was barely warm!
Room was tight and awkward. No tissues in room.
