"I feel like this hotel has the potential to be lovely but let itself down in the lack of attention to details. If they put as much effort into the customer experience as they did into the slick website and promotional photos it could be really nice. We stayed in a studio and it was average but nothing special. There was a concrete pillar separating the living area and sleeping area but because of still trying to squeeze a corner sofa in there was a very small gap between sofa and wall to squeeze through to get to the sleeping area. This made it a bit hazardous going to the bathroom in the night. The top shelf in the sleeping area for storing clothes, etc. was very dusty. And, only a small thing but the rug was too big for the space. We were only provided with 1 bath towel and half a toilet roll between the 2 of us. When I contacted reception in the morning to ask for more I was told housekeeping weren't in until 10am (check out was at 11am). I was told if I needed them before then I could go down to reception to get some. We had also had issues contacting the hotel in advance of our stay to arrange early check-in (which is abailable for an extra £30) as nobody ever answered the phone and emails went unanswered also. And another irritant, it was a 22-storey building with only 1 smalle (and very slow) working lift, which made just getting up to our room a faff! Overall, it didn't feel great value for money and I wouldn't stay again. "

"Our stay was ok. The staff was nice but the cleaning crew were be dry rude. The room was just ok, we found candy wrapper and luggage tags between the beds which was very gross. Makes me wonder if the room is even vacuumed at all. "

"Fantastic find!! Late decision and what a good decision. Only a very short walk from Tower Bridge - loads os bars and independent foody places nearby. The hotel itself is also a coffee bar, restaurant and work space! Well decorated. Very clean and the food is excellent. The room was fantastic. A studio room. Separate eating and sitting area with a kitchen you could comfortably live with! Loads of room and very homely. The staff on every part of the business were down to earth, friendly and very helpful! Would recommend anyone to stay here "

"Citizen M at Tower Hill is a vibrant hotel full of character. The roof top bar on the 7th floor is an absolute treat, soaking up the views of Tower of London paired with top cocktails and a fantastic array of spirits. It’s the perfect get away. Steph on reception was a star, and was very attentive to any queries we may of had at check in and throughout our stay. The location has its advantages, you are within the centre of everything with great transport links. "
