Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Portland International Airport, OR
10/10 Excellent
"I really enjoyed my stay. My checkin was fast, the people were helpful, and friendly. The breakfast staff were kind/efficient, the options were good, they take your dishes when you're done, and clean the tables. The pool is open til midnight which is unheard of for me, and I really enjoyed the clean room I was able to sleep in without issue!"
Hyatt House Portland/Downtown
8/10 Good
"My problem was probably more with the hotel.com advertisement than it was with the property itself and that has so far been my experiment with this entire three week trip that I planned with the assistance of Hotels.com so marketing department pay attention. The photos for this room indicated a full-size refrigerator. It was a very small hotel refrigerator actually a little bit smaller than some. The room description said shower or bath when I inquired at the front desk. It didn’t seem that a bath was possible for this room type at all. I’m disabled and I have difficulty standing for a long period of time in the shower. I also have a special-needs child that it’s difficult to properly clean in the type of shower that was available so that was a little bit difficult. Also, the hotel is advertised as pet friendly. I travel with a service dog pet friendly is not a requirement for service dogs, but I usually try to book pet friendly hotels because they tend to have pet amenities that are useful for me such as nearby areas for your pet to relieve themselves. This hotel did not offer any such thing. No worries my dog is very well. Trained and able to use a 1 ft.² inch patch of dirt near a city tree but the front desk agent suggested a park more than a city block away as the nearest place for my dog to relieve himself."

"$55 / night valet parking. Neighborhood is OK but as with much of downtown Portland street people are everywhere."
Eastside Lodge
8/10 Good
"Would have rated 5 stars but parking was a nightmare. Apparently they let people from the surrounding area park there even though they aren't guests. Couldn't find any street parking so had to pay $20 in a lot. That lot expires at 5am, so had to get up at 5, move car to parking lot where luckily a spot had opened up. During that, saw a voucher in another car on the paid lot that said 'guest of Eastside lodge'. Why weren't we offered a voucher? 2 different staff people knew we were having issues. And coffee pot was empty in the morning when we checked out. The room was fine but these little things are why I can't give it a 5. Just get there early I guess."
