Nice hotel chain, I've stayed at other moxy locations before so knew what to expect for the most part. Staff were lovely (except for one) and amenities were pretty good. Would have liked a safe or mini fridge in the room, and also two pillows - the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was also very limited. Overall a nice stay.

Very nice and cozy hotel close to Old town. The staff were so nice and serviceminded. I can’t lie, the sounds from parties are a fact on the weekends. But I think the location, the clean rooms and nice staff is a very good compensation. Didn’t have the breakfast though. Air conditioning was nice and refreshing. I would totally go here again!

Our room was always cleaned late in the afternoon. No air conditioning. At first we opened the window but the noise coming from the ground floor was too loud (music, conversations, car engines, laughter), we had to contend with sweating during the night, Pillows were stinky, we cannot use them (we asked cleaning staff to smell the pillow and her reaction said it all) for them to be changed but had a stinky replacement, if replaced at all. Mattress was sliding, almost falling off during sleep. When we woke up, our mattresses were already beside each other. We only had one pillow each that was not comfortable at all (bulky and on the hard side). The salad greens (arugula) were wilted, obviously not fresh. Some reception staff were nice, but some were stone face, no welcoming smile at all.

We had a generally decent stay, with some definite positives and a few irritations. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded for free, which we appreciated. The location is very convenient and made getting around easy. The shower had good water pressure and didn’t leak. That said, there were some drawbacks. Annoyingly, there was no safe in the room, which felt like an oversight. Worst of all, 3 out of the 4 plug sockets stopped working; we didn’t report this as we didn’t want an electrician coming in while we were out (due to lack of safe!), nor did we want to have to change rooms. Other reviewers mentioned street noise, and they weren’t wrong - even on the 5th floor, we could hear people shouting at night. The air conditioning is confusing to operate, and breakfast wasn’t up to much. Overall, not a bad stay, but there’s room for improvement in a few key areas.

We always love staying at the Moxy when we travel. The staff in Bucharest was friendly and helpful. Hotel wise - in cold weather, an after bath robe would be helpful and also a bit more place to hang clothes, as there is no closet. I can’t comment on breakfast as I’m vegan and there wasn’t a viable option (protein wise) so we had breakfast outside.
