We received a wonderful warm welcome and the same level of friendly hospitality throughout our stay.
The food was excellent and we enjoyed the company of locals in the pub.
We thoroughly recommend this as place to stay, eat or just have a drink in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

We had a great nights stay at the Globe. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was pub food but amazing. The best Hunters Chicken ever and the steak and ale pie had huge chunks of meat. Breakfast was good too. The bed was very comfortable with a good nights sleep b
We loved our weekend at The Globe Inn. The landlady, Jane was amazing, friendly, funny and informative. She made us feel so welcome. She served us fabulous breakfasts and the homemade dinners were delicious.
The barman, Ollie was lovely and so helpful, he really is a great asset. The locals in the bar were friendly and chatty and very entertaining.
Prices were good value. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
It felt like home from home.
We will definitely be staying here again when visiting family who have just moved to the area.
I would highly recommend.
I was in Devon for just a one night stay at The Globe. The bed was super comfy and tbe bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The cooked breakfast was delicious and to much for me to manage.
Lovely old pub with clean and comfy accommodation. Live music on the night we stayed which was fantastic but probably worth checking beforehand if you wanted an early/quiet evening. We loved our stay and would happily stay again
The Globe is the most warm welcoming place. From the first step in its friendly, clean, comfortable place to stay and the food both for dinner and breakfast was outstanding. Would recommend to all, and will definitely stay again.
Nice quirky old style pub room which was surprisingly large.
Breakfast was excellent.
'Wet Room' did look like it could flood the room easily. maybe it won't but I used a towel to ensure it didn't.
Brillinat local place. Fanatstic landlady who does all the food herself. Would highly recommend and let us sit here until we were ready to go. Friendly, welcoming, just lovely.

Staff were friendly, The breakfast was good. The room and ensuite wet room were slightly awkwardly laid out with the bed restricting good access to the wet room and the plumbing was rather noisy.
The property is very old and as such has lots of original quirks, such as uneven floors but this all adds to the charm of the building. The landlady and staff were very welcoming and friendly, approachable and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable.
Nice relaxed atmosphere in the pub, and a quaint little bedroom upstairs, with a wet room style bathroom, and a tiny TV. I liked the tea and coffee tray with real china cups and glasses, but I only saw the mni fridge with milk portions in the hallway when we were checking out. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff!

Really lovely staff. Toilet wouldnt flush though and unfortunstely i left early hrs so couldnt report it
The landlady is very welcoming and works hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and well fed. The building is very old and so is the village of Buckfastleigh. It makes a good base to explore Dartmoor. The parkiing is fine overnight and is free between 6pm and 9am. You then have to move your car or pay for short term parking. Very reasonable room rates .

Doors that go bump in the night
Facilities were appropriate for the price charged. Service was friendly and breakfast good quality. The addition of a wet room to a bedroom not designed for it meant the bathroom door would not fully open as it clashed with the bed. Other than that OK
