This hotel is in a fantastic location, staff is extremely friendly, and the cafe/restaurant is gorgeous. Highly recommend the rooms that have balconies with the view of opera house. The metro stop is just steps away from the front door.

The location is excellent. And staff were lovely. But there is no AC and the room had two skylights, making it very hot in the room. There is a balcony but if you sit on the chairs, you are at the height of the cement balcony wall rather than at any view. For that you have to stand.

We absolutely loved our stay at Callas House! The highlight was our room’s private rooftop terrace overlooking the beautiful Hungarian State Opera House—what an incredible view and such a special place to sit and enjoy Budapest! And LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! We were within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, historic sights, the Danube River and so much more. The Hop-On Hop-Off bus was also very convenient, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. Callas House has so much character and was a wonderful home base for our time in Budapest. Between the beautiful historic setting, fantastic location and that amazing terrace, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel was wonderful. We had a group of 10 people/5 rooms. The rooms were spacious. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. Helped with dinner reservations and taxi rides. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Budapest again.

Beautiful hotel, the Budapest architecture runs through the room! Nice amenities in the room, clean shower, friendly staff. The room with the rooftop - the rooftop view is mostly obstructed, likely for safety reasons. Free breakfast was perfect mix of warm and cold offerings. Highly recommend!
