Had top floor 3 bedroom suite. Suite was very nice, fairly clean. However daily cleaning was pretty useless. Beds were firm but comfortable. 5 minute walk to large grocery store in mall and lots of dining options. 10 minute walk to subway. I would stay here again.

We have been at this hotel 2 years before and we like it. Front desk and stuff are friendly, rooms are clean (I gave just 4 stars for cleaning because we did not had shower gel in he bottle till next day when we asked for) not a big problem this can be easy missed. Nothing to complain about. Great breakfast, very good food, always fresh and lots of choices. Overall we would go back again next time if we are in the area.

I was very satisfied with my room. Very friendly members of service, great room with a nice view into green. Close to spme nice places and public transport without beeing into the noise. Minor things, like the slund of cllsong doors as if they slam shut, asked three times for ly room number at the breakfast may tookbaway the 5th star, bjt i would book again and can fully recommend.

Great 3 bedroom hotel sty

Group of 3 friends loved the penthouse. Ample space, updated everything, and a humongous balcony. The staff for breakfast and front desk were excellent. Loved the location, easy taxi/Uber ride from everything in Budapest. I highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here . The room was clean upon arrival . But , could be a bit more thorough , throughout our stay of 5 days . The breakfast was bountiful ! The location was pretty good . Just be prepared to walk for about 30 mins towards the river . Shopping mall just around the corner and the grocery store , Lidl was in close proximity to the hotel ., great for essential groceries . We stayed in an apartment room with no sit down balcany . Which, was disappointing . I would suggest a studio apartment , a kitchen and walk out balcony . Staff did not speak English except front desk clerks . They were friendly and helpful .

Very fine location - 2 minutes to subway and large supermarket Suite is large and very comfortable Free still and sparkling water Wifi is ok 24 hours reception - good for late check-in Full hot breakfast Thank you so much for suite upgrade. One cons - only one lift and on the morning it was a little bit long waiting time, but overall - is excellent.

Great, comfortable, and functional little hotel.

Escala is a tight efficient hotel right off of the Corvin Plaza. For the small footprint it provides a lot of comfort. Many units have partial kitchens and some even have working washing machines for clothes. The breakfast in the morning is worth it and staff are accommodating to guests from around the world. The hotel is a 4 block walk from Semmelweis Kliniknak M3 Metro Station which connects directly from the airport (and has a platform to surface elevator unlike Corvin). This has been a great hotel for our family on a number of occasions and we find ourselves returning to it whenever we come through Budapest.

Decent 2 night stay

We stayed for 2 nights. The building, halls and bathrooms are dated but other than that- the staff was pleasant and location was decent. Hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants and mall but a little further from the Christmas markets and city than I would have liked however, still very walkable. There is a washer/dryer combo machine within the unit but it's for VERY small loads. We used the laundry mat next door which was very safe, clean, and much more efficient as we had several loads to do plus our coats. They did have water available at no additional cost which was a very nice touch. Room was also a bit warm but it was nice that we could open the windows.

Wonderful stay. Exceptional hotel great location

We spent 3 nights here on a mini break. We used the airport mini bud transport which was great value and took us to the door. We received a warm welcome and had our room on the 6th floor. Super light and airy, huge bed, sofa , table and chairs full kitchen and even a washing machine. we were so pleased. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of eggs on request. We considered it very well located. just by the Corvin shopping centre and lots of eateres. There is a Chimney cake shop just around the corner lovely fresh and delicous, These cost 800 HUF. The nearer you got to the city and its attractions the dearer they became toppng off at 3500 HUF by the castle. Thsi highlights the exceptional value for being just 10-15 away from the main atrractions. We were so impressed with the Escala and would happily recommend

Nice and cozy hotel. Our room was really spacious and clean. The kitchen was appreciated and well equipped. Corvin plaza was really close, and you can find an amazing Italian restaurant in the backside of the hotel, named Amici miei. The breakfast was great and you could choose between many types of eggs and ham. In the weekend they bring delicious pastries too, so it is worth to stay there Saturday and Sunday. Everybody was kind and helpful.
