We would have given five stars had they had their own restaurant on site. Walking to a sister hotel for breakfast was a first for me. The breakfast was lovely but very limiting menu choice. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you.

Hotel GIN was a really beautiful hotel with nice staff and great location. It was in walkable distance to most places and very close to public transportation if needed. We’re very pleased with this hotel.

Hotel GIN is new and very well located for sightseeing Budapest. It’s is central yet quiet and you are always within 20 minutes of one site or another. Very good food spots too. The hotel is clean and well taken care off. I had issues with my first room and they changed it even upgraded me, no issues. I initially needed to cancel the booking due to unexpected ill health but they refused saying I had booked a non refundable room meanwhile all they offered on Expedia were the non refundable room. This put me off somewhat. That aside it was a lovely stay. I would recommend, they get shower caps, conditioners, slippers, robes in the hotels and replace the toilet paper daily as we ran out on our last day but other than that, very nice!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the lobby smells amazing. Room clean, modern and comfortable. TV allows screen sharing so you can watch Netflix/ Disney+ ect, room also has AC. Shower is fantastic. Very central location, tram and metro links are simple. Pre warning you will have to pay city tax (we paid €20) and €50 as a pre payment in case you use the mini bar (annoying) we didn’t even use the mini bar but still had to pay. Was told I’ll get it back into my bank in 3-5 days. :)

The water was not hot, the bathroom was very cold as well. There is no heat in the room, like it does not work, so it’s cold all the time. The cleaning stuff was not that good, we stayed for 5 nights and they didn’t change the bed sheets 😒

My experience with this hotel was extremely bad and far below expectations. • Reception staff: The receptionist was very rude. • Room: The bed was not made, and there was a foul sewage smell coming from the bathroom. • Cleanliness: The carpet was not vacuumed, and the towels were neither replaced nor properly hung. • Services: This was the first time I stayed in a hotel that didn’t provide any in-room hospitality. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I do not recommend staying at this hotel at all.

Fine place. Beautiful design but there were several aspects that struck me as being aesthetically pleasing but bad (an issue of form over function). The front entrance has automatic doors (convenient) but you need to drag your luggage up two steps to get to those doors (not wheelchair-friendly!). There are separate shower and toilet rooms but that makes the toilet feel really narrow and claustrophobic (also definitely not disability friendly). The bed was super hard—not just firm but hard, leaving me achy in the morning. The AC could be set to a particular temperature but was definitely incapable of actually cooling the room to that temperature. Indeed, my AC just leaked from the ceiling all night (not over the bed, thankfully). All that said, the location is great and the beautiful design really does make the stay more pleasant. The staff were kind. But given all the issues, will probably not stay here again.

The hotel was so convenient. Very clean, helpful staff and comfy bed. Easy to get around as it is just off Kalvin Ter. Loved out stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

A sonderful stay! The rooms were spotless and very quiet, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The location is perfect—right in the city center, just a short walk to the river and plenty of excellent restaurants. Public transportation is also very convenient and easy to access. Staff were welcoming and attentive. A beautiful place to stay, and I’d happily return!
