We would not recommend unless you are only after a place to stay overnight, as the Wi-Fi is rubbish and the breakfast is very limited I.E continental only unless you want something cooked, which you have to pay extra for. The property is in need of a revamp along with the rooms but not the bathroom, well not in our room (15) this was modern, although it took the shower a good 5 minutes before it stopped dripping! The staff were very friendly and helpful but we would say this was a good value for money stay.

Don’t stay here! We had an awful room hard twin beds. The place had music full blast. The staff were playing football outside during their breaks. It seemed rough. We checked out and booked another hotel in Exeter.

Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Big pub & restaurant downstairs with good range of food & drink. Quaint village with community shop & lovely mill based little shopping village 5 minutes walk.

Such a great place- highly reccommended

Such a great place. Fabulous location. Rooms were comfortable and very attractive. Staff were amazing and food very good. The Sunday dinner was fab!(although menu overall could benefit from some 'healthier' options). We had a few niggles with our room but dealt with immediately and appropriately. Would definitely reccomend and would book again if in the area.

Well organised - all arrangements wend to plan. Froendly and helpful staff. We had a delicious meal each in the restaurant and the continental breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of foods available. Our room was very comfortable and had a good supply of toiletries, teas, coffees etc. We really enjoyed our one night stay and would have been happy to stay longer. We definitely recommend you book as you’ll have a great time.

Basic but good value

Quite a basic offering which included a continental breakfast but for the money paid it was good value. Staff very friendly and helpful and the food in the pub was decent and well priced. A lot of noise from people sitting outside the pub drinking after it closed for a couple of hours which may have been a one off but ruined the experience

The room was large and had generous and nice bathroom and shower. TV was small and inflexibly mounted on the wall. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of options and cuppicino were a coffee option.

Fairly average rooms above a pub. The room was pretty clean and bed was quite comfy. The toilet was ridiculously loud so we couldn’t flush at night for fear of waking each other up, and the shower temperature was a bit temperamental. Continental breakfast was included which was quite simple but there was plenty of it and a reasonable selection. Staff were friendly enough but the service was generally a bit on the relaxed side. We had to hunt someone down to check out.
