"Loved that it was a little away from the crazy downtown area! Free parking! We had a room with a door to the hallway of the hotel/casino but also a door to outside so that you didn’t have to bring your luggage through the hotel. Easy in and out!"

"This is a historic hotel. Do not expect the rooms to be spacious. They are are very comfortable for the room they are. Our room 212 had a fan that sounded like a steam engine! Once we figured out how to turn it off the sleep was great! Breakfast at Bully's is a must! The food is very good and prices are the best I've seen in a while. I do caution about the pancake, one will fill a medium pizza pan, really not kidding. It is one of the best tasting pancake I have ever eaten! My only complaint is our window shade could not be raised and the TV didn't work but we were never in the room except to sleep so not a big deal for us. Would we come back? Yes! If only for the pancake!!!"

"The hosts have thought of everything. We were in what is called a basic cabin, (we had #11) however, it is anything but basic! The queen bed is super comfortable with wonderful linens. There is room on both sides of the bed, with one side having a nightstand and the other a small table and two chairs. Their use of shelving and a bench helped provide places for towels, washcloths, coffee maker, a microwave, freezer/refrigerator, TV, videos, toaster, etc.... It may be a small space, but it was mighty in what it had to offer. The chairs on the front porch were a perfect place to start the day while drinking hot tea and taking in the fresh mountain air. Please note that the bathrooms are unattached shared spaces - all four of them have a sink, shower and toilet with a private door you can lock. They also have three units (I believe) with bathrooms in them in their lodge area. The hosts are very kind and will answer any questions you may have and do whatever they can to accommodate your needs. Their cabins are a short distance from Deadwood and right off of 385 so easy to get on the road to travel through the beautiful Black Hills. Thank you for providing this space!"
