Our plans changed and we canceled well in advance and didn't stay here, not sure why it's asking for a review. I am sure it's wonderful though! Burgeo has a lot of great stuff to explore from the Sandbanks Provincial Park to the museum.

Check in was very smooth and quick with simple instructions. The property is located on the waterfront that comes with a beautiful view. The house was clean with a great kitchen, dining area, and living room. There were a few issues with the amenities of the property, however the host was very accommodating and quick to respond to our messages. We did also like that there were extra supplies, such as packaged toothbrushes, toothpaste, and women hygiene products which we thought were a special touch.

We were flight delayed so arrived late. Owner left the door unlocked with key and wifi info etc inside, so this went well. Temperature on arrival was 5 degree centigrade, but heat was not on, and it took a while to discern the various heat options ( space heater, baseboards, some on thermometer, some standalone). Also took some time to understand the light switch configuration for some of the lights. Clean and well appointed, small bedrooms, good size living area, reminiscent of an old timey cottage.

Very run down condition Out of three beds only 1 was comfortable Lighbulbs hanging from the cealing in the laundry on a wire 4 light bulbs out Patio door wouldn’t slide Closet door in main bedroom broken When turning on faucet in tub to shower it came off in my hand Notv no hand soap Light on patio hanging on a wire and rusted . Way over priced , checked out a day early , very disappointing, wouldn’t stay there again or recommend to anyone.
