We loved the history of the property and the owners greeted us and gave us suggestions about where to eat dinner. Breakfast was huge! Bed was very comfortable sander had fun meeting the other guests.

The place was beautiful and walking distance to the river and downtown. Breakfast was very good and host was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The Drake was the place to go for dinner and drinks.

This is a magnificent old home with very comfortable accommodations. There are several stairs from the street to the front door, and another flight to reach the rooms, but the young hosts are more than willing to move luggage for you. The breakfast is excellent, and was served right on time. Several fine restaurants are nearby; we recommend dining outdoors, overlooking the river, at The Drake. We were completely satisfied, and would certainly be happy to return whenever our travels take us to the Burlington area.

We had a lovely experience at Evans’ Holly Grove Inn B&B in Burlington Iowa. The historic house was in great shape and full of interesting artifacts that we enjoyed looking at and learning about. Our host Kage was amazing, making us feel very welcome and was attentive to our needs while we were there. Highly recommended!

Beautiful inn! The room was spacious and the common spaces were so cozy. Breakfast was delicious too! We were able to walk to the riverfront area for dinner. The owner gave us some great recommendations for places to go. We will absolutely stay here again if we are traveling that direction.

The owners of this BnB could not have been more welcoming. They gave me advice about the area, allowed me to stay after checkout to take a zoom call and made a delicious breakfast! So relaxing, just what I needed for a one night stop on a business trip. The house too is fabulous, a glorious renovation of a Victorian home, a lovely place to be.

Great location in downtown Burlington. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, while giving you plenty of space and privacy. The home is very comfortable and breakfasts were delicious. Come here if you're in town in Burlington, much better than staying in a chain hotel.

Absolutely lovely property, conveniently located walking distance to downtown restaurants (though get ready for a little workout climbing back up the hill!) I was the only guest the night that I stayed, though the breakfast area was roomy enough for a full house. Simple breakfast fare done very, very well. Would definitely stay here again.
