Located five minutes from the Buscemi Museum Village at an altitude of nearly 800 meters in the Iblei Mountains. Nestled in a nature reserve and surrounded by countless hiking and trekking trails. Mountain bikes are also available. Go for a swim at the Cava Grande waterfall, just 25 minutes away. Enjoy pure peace and relaxation. Here, you can let your mind wander completely undisturbed. You can set out on hikes to Pantalica (UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site) directly from the house, or drive or walk to the nearby town of Palazzolo Acreide (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site). Features a private 8x4m pool and a large sun terrace by the pool.
Nestled in the heart of the Monti Iblei Nature Park, the property offers hiking tours to Stone Age necropolises, abandoned Byzantine cave churches, ancient water mills, or simply into unspoiled nature. Even in the height of summer, the climate is very pleasant thanks to the elevation of 750 meters. Surrounded by six UNESCO World Heritage Sites and two Natural World Heritage Sites in an absolutely peaceful setting, this is the perfect place to unwind, let your mind wander, enjoy the paradisiacal views, set out on fantastic hiking or mountain biking tours right from your doorstep, then relax in the pool and savor a cold beer or local wine of exceptional quality. As part of the “Albergo diffuso” project, you can enjoy a private Sicilian cooking experience on the large terrace, harvest your own tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, and more from our garden, and grill them with delicious ingredients. Unwind, explore, exercise, let your mind wander, shop, head to the sea, or just listen to the cuckoo. Cool off by the pool and just hang out. You can do it all here. Sustainability is our top priority. For this reason, only ecologically sound building materials found on the property were used in the construction of the building. Our energy supply comes from solar thermal systems for hot water and photovoltaic systems for electricity. On average, we generate approximately 5,000 kWh of electricity per year and consume approximately 3,500 kWh. In this way, we make a positive contribution to environmental protection and the fight against climate change.
