We have stayed at the Brownwood multiple times. Its a great location for visiting relatives in the Villages. The whole facility is modern, up-to-date and well maintained. The staff is always helpful and polite. The rooms are nicely appointed and always clean.

My wife's grandfather is buried in the cemetery and we stopped by there on the way back from one of our trips to Key West.

We attended a memorial service at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. It was very special and the grounds were beautiful. The personnel there were very accommodating and honoring.

The area I stayed was clean and pleasant enough, but not much in the immediate vicinity. A Walmart, a few gas stations, and 5 fast food places (I believe it was) and lined the road across the street. I was there for a funeral though so didn't get to
