"A lovely situation however the restaurant was not open which meant driving to Cheticamp or Inverness. On the second day the power was off and remained off all day. We travelled around the Cabot Trail in warm conditions only to find still no power with no assistance or suggestions from staff. Eventually power returned around 6 pm. Shame because the area is lovely but service was non existent."

"If you are looking for a cute, self contained little unit for your stay on the Cabot Trail, this is the place. It was very quiet and comfortable. The bed is okay and probably should be replaced as it seems sunken in the middle, but not a super big deal for us as we only stayed one night. The only draw back to this place is that it is about 10kms from any type of restaurant (if they are open). If you were staying here in the summer or were prepared to cook meals you could just stay at this cozy little cabin."

"A confusing check-in was made excellent by the cleaning staff. They went out of their way to facilitate our check-in. They did a beautiful job of cleaning our cabin. I never did get the TV to work during our whole vacation in Nova Scotia. Directions for using the satellite are insufficient. What input channel to the TV is used? HDMI1, 2? Followed the directions given to no avail. Wi-Fi was spotty. Beds very comfortable; towels and blankets were plentiful. We very much enjoyed our stay there. Great hot water in the shower. Excellent Tim Horton dark K cups for the Keurig. 😊 Recommended highly."

"Our room was clean but on the small side. The included breakfast was meager, some bread and jam and cold cereal with coffee and orange juice. Dinner was not very good. As the price was fair for what we got I probably come back again"

"This place is run by a couple. They live on site. Lonnie, her husband and the 6 puppies they live with. The site is directly on the ocean. Clean and well maintained. Convenient to the Cabot Trail. Great accommodations!"
