rapport qualité/prix médiocre

Au vu du prix de la chambre (135€), mieux vaut réserver au best western Modern à 300 mètres de celui-ci, aussi bien placé avec chambres plus spacieuses, lits plus grands; enfin tout est mieux à moins cher. Il n'y a pas de spa mais il faut ajouter 15€ par personne pour y accéder alors que dans d'autres Best Western c'est gratuit. Donc je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

Bel hôtel, mais pas en ce moment.

Très faible notre générale malgré un hôtel de qualité. En effet il est en travaux et les chambres donnent sur un échafaudage. Ouvriers "sympathiques" mais présent devant vos fenêtres à partir de 8h30. J'ai signalé le problème à la réception qui n'a même pas eu un mot de regret. (pas son problème)

Bonne première impression et gros potentiel.

Arrivée tardive sur une belle bâtisse ancienne mais traitée de façon contemporaine, une première impression très positive. Déception assez rapide avec un intérieur en contraste avec la première impression et une décoration d'un autre temps et défraîchie. L'établissement mériterait une belle rénovation intérieure. Travail à faire sur la mise en avant des services proposés par l'établissement.

Never again and will question the group at large

Thus was the absolute pits, parking was terrible to the point my car was blocked in and i could not leave for dinner, i complained to staff who did nothing i was given assurances but nothing happened. It cam to after midnight where i insisted something was done and they started calling rooms but still nothing. I threatened to call Gendarme and eventually they found the owner and moved the car I suffered by not being able to meet a colleague for dinner and my sleep was terrible and little. I want to iisue a formal complaint to the owners.

The hotel has been renovated and is well located

The hotel is conveniently in the heart of Caen in walking distance of all the key tourist sites and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The Hotel doesn't have air conditioning, however the staff will provide you with a fan to circulate the air in the room.

Mycket rent och fräscht rum och badrum med separat toalett. Positivt med kylskåp, vattenkokare och safebox på rummet, men dåligt att hiss saknas. Jag fick släpa upp väskorna i en böjd trappa. Det går att åka lokalbuss från järnvägsstationen till hotellet som ligger i lugnt område, men det är ganska ont om restauranger i närheten. Provade inte hotellets frukost, då den var riktigt dyr.

Nice hotel close to the chateau

I was there mainly to visit the D-Day museum. I could ride the bus from nearby and the tourist center was also close. Hotel was comfortable and had a great breakfast. I didn't eat dinner, but it is considered quite a gourmet paradise. I spent a little time in the cozy bar, writing in my journal. Staff was very nice.

Nuit très agitée en raison du vacarme fait par les étudiants pendant la nuit du mercredi au jeudi. Je devais me lever a 5h15 du matin,j'ai ete réveillé a partir de 2hoo!!!!

the pool is not included this is an extra 15 euro , which was disappointing , the local students messing about drunk below my window kept me awake until 4.00am the staff could not see the problem. not good

Superbe établissement de charme. Endroit magnifique en plein centre ville de Caen. La chambre est très sobre et bien agencée. TV à écran plat mais de petite taille... Pas de Beinsport malheureusement. 2 formules de petit-déjeuner disponible : un continental (8 euros) au bar et un plus élaboré en salle (16 euros). Parking privée disponible gratuitement.

Good hotel with excellent restaurant.

Good hotel in central location. Quiet. Excellent restaurant with very reasonable priced menus. Car park difficult at times due to very small spaces though always managed to get a space. Tea making facilities available on request.would return.

Cette Hôtel est très bien situé en plein centre-ville de Caen. C’est aussi un très bel hôtel ou le personnel est agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie confortable.

A Comfortable Place to stay in Caen.

Hotel La Dauphin is nicely located. There were places to walk to near by, small shops, restaurants, etc. It was easy to have a taxi take us to the Memorial Museum, which is incredible. The staff is fantastic. They not only help you with any tasks - they know exactly how to do everything! They move from task to task with no problems. The chef is pretty great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Good base of operations to explore

Good hotel, close to castle and center of town, easy access to train station via tram.... free parking is tight, but we managed fine. It was a good place to stay to explore the beaches of Normandy, Mont St. Micheal, Bayeux etc
