"With a 7 yr old boy and a 10 yr old boy. Swimming pool was warm and fun. Went to to sports hall for football and badminton. Next day went cycling. We had a little dog with us and it was no problem. All of Aviemore is dog friendly. Lovely time. "

"Booked 2 adults 3 children. To which we were given 2 separate rooms nowhere near each other. Asked for them to be near. They offered room next door but didn’t point out smaller bed and the most uncomfortable thing I’ve gone on. I’m slim and lying on there must have been an inch between me n bed base. Anyone slightly larger wd have been on it. Paid for 2 big beds. And not what given. Pretty disappointing"

"Good stay, reasonably priced for half board, and decent value for money overall. Room very small with limited window despite upgrading to one with a window, although clean and functional. Breakfast and evening meal were buffet style and had a reasonable choice. Good selection of fish dishes for evening meal but no fish options for breakfast. Breakfast was also lacking any nuts or seeds or fresh fruit to go with yogurt and tinned fruit. Although good selection of traditional Scottish cooked breakfast. Easy parking and swimming pool good. Lots of things for kids to do."

"Breakfast was fine but as you would expect when they prepare the food earlier, it's very difficult to keep the food warm unfortunately."

"Situated on the main road through Aviemore so perfect for shops, pubs, cafes and the bus and train. Only fault i have, nothing the motel can do though, is it was a little noisy with the road traffic and the train line so bear in mind if your used to a little more rural settings. Place was immaculately clean, plenty parking and room was a great size. Had a fantastic few days and would recommend using the motel as a base for exploring the area. "

"A stunning rural location a short distance from Aviemore with a small shop and pub within walking distance. The house was very comfortable and equipped to a high standard. Family that visited all commented on how comfortable the beds were. We had a group of 6 adults and a toddler and found the house was ideal. Great storage for outdoor kit and excellent hot tub and sauna. Ideally located for walking, cycling and most other outdoor activities. Communication from GNL was excellent. We would definitely return."

"The host has thought of everything for all seasons with games room , outdoor games and hot tub , the house is equipped to a high standard . The provision of a meal on first night is a nice touch . The games room provided great entertainment for our family. Hot tub was great to relax in after a long walk , property is a 15 / 20 minute walk to centre. Would definitely book this house again as we like the area"

"Fantastic house in quiet area. Ideally located for walking into town (15 mins) along the Orbital path.Extremely comfortable beds with quality linen. Fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons for stay at home meals. The games room is a fabulous addition and was used daily, as was the hot tub! What a treat to arrive to a home cooked (delicious) meal ready for us in the slow cooker - and the fire was prepared just ready to light! Very thoughtful and hugely appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing stay."
