The rooms are full of character and very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and we enjoyed a wonderful meal with them. They are very knowledgeable about the area and provide plenty of information.

A warm welcome in a unique hotel!

Lovely hotel enhanced by little touches such as eye masks at the bedside, air freshener in the toilet (which you never normally get in France) and a waste bin with separate compartments for recycling. Great breakfast with home made yoghurt and lovely fresh bread and croissants with assorted jams. The hosts were very warm and welcoming - wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Les hôtes sont d'une exceptionnelle courtoisie! Ils nous ont fait des recommandations touristiques qui ont changé nos plans pour le mieux! De plus, leur petit déjeuner personnalisé est varié, copieux, et vraiment, vraiment délicieux. Mention spéciale pour les fruits qui étaient parfaits et le jus d'orange fraichement pressé qui est simplement le meilleur que nous avons pu boire. Et je n'arrive toujours pas à comprendre comment ils peuvent faire un café aussi savoureux mais j'adorerais connaître leur secret! La chambre était très propre et la décoration est vraiment très belle et originale. Un hôtel unique en son genre!

Lovely stay at Les Secrets despite Loges. Just as described - themed room (Bleriot - which was deceptively large), antiques throughout, 3 cats and a very welcoming family. Free street parking in a quiet area of Calais. We had the excellent evening meal cooked by Laurent & we're invited to watch the penalties in the Women's Euro final with the family. Great place to stay if you are not rushing through Calais. Nice 40 minute walk to the seafront passing by the town hall. Highly recommended.

Everything about the red room was classic. A bio of the person whom the room was named after, "The Hamilton Room." Picture a perfect view out of the window and access to a cozy courtyard on the "o" floor. Lots of reading material that invites you to chill and read in comfortable chairs. The main bus stop for Calais is within view of the front door and the classic theatre building with three venues inside is literally across the street.

Feels like home

We spent only one night at this place with our son. Our room was very originally decorated, completely our style. The breakfast was delicious, with some homemade food and fresh bakery. The owners were incredibly kind. It was almost a shame to leave. I hope we’ll manage to return someday.
