"This property is so beautiful. Surrounded by olive trees. They must have spent a fortune converting the rooms and lobby area and all tastefully done. Our room was huge and airy. I have never seen a larger bath and shower in a room. My wife and I so enjoyed staying here. The breakfast was so appetizing and we looked forward to it every morning. "This hotel has a ton of character, clean rooms, good breakfast, and a very friendly and helpful staff. It’s super close to the beach and the parking is easy right out front. Being jet-lagged and my first night in Sicily, I couldn’t figure out how the AC unit worked, unfortunately, but opening the windows helped and I still slept very well. I will definitely come back to stay here again!"

"Very impressed with the management of a resort of this size. Full day of amenities if you wished to remain at the resort from the beautiful swimming pool, adult only beach, spa and daily activity calendar. You can walk for miles! Plenty of room at your choice of amenities. Complimentary buffet breakfast and dinner was outstanding. Food for every palate. Sciacca piazza was a short drive with beautiful views, restaurants and shopping. Returned to resort with beautiful live music beginning at 9:15 pm to enjoy a nightcap and sea breeze. Although this was an adult trip very family friendly. Will return if visiting west coast of Sicily again!"

"The Villa Athena is an amazing luxury hotel with an amazing location. With a direct view of Greek temples, as well as private access, sets this property apart from others. In addition the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed our private balcony with direct access to the property and pool area. The staff was welcoming and attentive. I like the size of the resort as it feels more intimate and personalized. We also took advantage of the amazing restaurant as well. We will definitely return for another stay in the future."

"Beautiful, quiet, peaceful property, located 5 min off of SS115. 10-15 min drive to coastal towns of Realmonte or Siculia, either beaches or restaurant areas. Nearby is busy Agrigento which is a large town. (20-30 min drive depending upon traffic from hotel to Valle dei Templi). This hotel has a good central location. What is phenomenal is its' location as a place to unwind at the end of the evening, when returning from the beach or bar/restaurant areas in nearby towns. It is quite something to stay at a converted orchard (olives/fig/lemon trees) farmhouse at a higher elevation, with a fantastic view of the coast, a unique experience, one we won't forget after the hustle and bustle of other stays in Italy (eg Rome, Sorrento) Francesco the owner was very helpful during our stay."

"Excellent locations! Very near train station; a bus stop to go to Valley if the Temple and a 5-min wall to Centro Storico. Air conditioning was fantastic; appreciated the split units in each room. Apartment was nicely appointed; lacking only a view to the sea. Our apartment was in a separate building which stopped us from enjoying roof top terrace at the main hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Didn’t have breakfast included in our rate so can’t speak to it."
