"This was our second visit, we booked the same room type in the preferred area as the location is great and the rooms spacious. Last year we scored the hotel as excellent, this year we have dropped our score slightly. We still found the staff to be super friendly and efficient and the breakfast in the portofino restaurant is still great with plenty of choice. This year we travelled as a group of four, this was a struggle at breakfast as there are limited spaces for four and no chance of sitting outside. There were other groups of four at the hotel so we felt there should have been more seating options in portofino on the bright side of the room or outside for four. The staff keep the rooms clean, but we felt there were not enough of them to service the entire hotel, there was a long time slot, sometimes resulting in cleaning up to 14;00, while turn down service could range from 17:30 to 21:00. We opted for B&B, we did try the grill on our last evening but found it to be mediocre in comparison to the restaurants on the marina, cementing our decision to go B&B this time. We still really enjoyed our stay, this is still a fantastic hotel in a great location, and we would return again at some point in the future."

"Booked these appts on Latedeal. Big Complex rooms were basic but did have necessary things. Only Small bar just couple tables around it then found Bar closes i.clock in night so if your stuck for drink or meal u have to go out. lvly room upstairs with Bar which was never opened. They had 2.pools sometimes u had Entertainment sometimes u didn't we spent 10.days there which we enjoyed but only thing was it was up hill so walking difficulties its hard ."

"Great first impression, lobby is beautifully presented and smells lovely, check in nice and relaxed with seats and drinks! Room was fantastic, very spacious, great sea view (especially at sunrise!), comfy and large bed, clever and well thought out controls. Breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, lots of options every night with different themes giving plenty of variety, and always some plain options for picky eaters Pool and bar/grill area was great, with more tasty food and gorgeous views over the beach. Hydrothermal circuit in the spa was lovely and relaxing, we particularly liked the recommended order to help those less experienced get the most benefit, and the pool had so many different features that gave massage-like experiences. All staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and spoke good english"

"It was a great experience, 9/10, but the only down fall was no ac and the fact the fan was tiny and didn’t help with the heat. The property overall is beautiful from check in even though it’s on a sketchy looking street. The room itself is pretty mediocrce. It made me feel like I was taking a vow of poverty. The room had the bare minimum of amenities but was tolerable if you brought your own things. The staff went above and beyond everything. They were extremely kind and helpful despite a small language barrier."

"Very good hotel. Clean, spacious, and situated on the beach front. Room was clean, fresh and has amazing views out over the beach and sea. Breakfast is good quality and the despite the roof top pool being small their were enough beds around it (September) i'd imagine in the summer its quite busy up there. The general area around the hotel is ok, few shops for drinks, snacks etc but you will have to walk or travel out for decent food if it is not included. McDonalds and Burger King is around a 20 minute walk for example if you have kids."

"Accommodation was very clean and in an excellent location for shops, restaurants and bars. We booked accommodation with shared shower room by mistake but it turned out to be ok. Staff were very helpful :-)"
