The area was nice and so was the hotel. I would not give them a 9.6. It was more a 6,5 The rooms very nice and clean. The staff very polite. It is a few long blocks to an awesome mall and Restaurants. The people are extremely friendly and the food in Colombia is delicious!

When you 1st arrive you think is just a regular house on the outside, but noo!!!! It's a beautiful hotel in the inside, food was great, service was amazing, if you have a car you can parked in the underground garage or park outside, very safe area. 100% recommended.

The hotel staff is extraordinary, attentive, and efficient (especially Johan at the Front Desk). The breakfast is very complete, delicious with tropical fruits, Colombian baked goods, and eggs prepared any way you like. It is located near two large shopping centers (Unicentro and Jardin Plaza), where you will find multiple shops and restaurants. Although the rooms are spacious and comfortable, some bathrooms need to be ventilated.

Awesome hotel. Big room, the staff is more than friendly, they are always happy and ready to help you. Breakfast is delicious and it is open in a wide schedule, so it is very unlikely you will miss it. Everything in this hotel is made with care and elegance. Best place to stay in Cali or at least in the southern part of the city. My only complaint is the absence of a gym or fitness center, but it seems to be ready soon. This minor issue doesn’t affect the extraordinary quality of this place.

Description of rooms is misleading: there are no baths unless you’re in the suites. Also, the staff were usually great but weren’t always too good about opening the main gate when you arrive/exit the hotel. Otherwise, rooms were nice, breakfast was good, and the location was convenient, though definitely go out with a buddy at night.

I literally loveeeee Alko hotel! The people there are so friendly, warm, and welcoming especially the front desk and dining staff.. the food is to die for ! I ate at the restaurant atleast twice a day and the drinks are amazing! They’re so attentive and do their best to accommodate every request. Also housekeeping takes their job seriously and actually deep cleans when they come to clean!!! I want to go back to Columbia just to stay at this exact hotel. It was convenient to not one but TWO major shopping malls … one is literally around the corner and across the street.. plus loads of desayuno carts and other places to eat in the area. The area is safe and quiet and the people there really get to know you. I would live at Alko hotel if i could!!! 1000/10 all across the board!

Everything about the Hotel was great. It was cleaned, great service and the hospitality of the staff that work there is great. I got to encounter with Johan, Evelyn and Fernando on a daily basis and they make you feel at home. Breakfast had great options. I highly recommend!
