Gorgeous views!

We loved our stay at Stella’s Hideaway. The home is clean, cozy, and generously stocked with supplies. The Lake Superior views are stunning and the location is ideal for local trips and travel.

Amazing Place

Such an amazing place and the views are spectacular!!! Everything you need is all right there for you and you’re not too far from town if you need anything else! Don’t forget to try out the sauna, you will love it! We’ll definitely be back!!!!

Lovely fall getaway!

Perfect spot to land for some beautiful fall colors! We always love being by the big lake, and the views from here were wonderful! Sunsets, waves and stars in abundance. The hosts were wonderful and had everything set up so well. Teens loved the new kids loft, lots of fun games and puzzles for everyone, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen! Thanks so much for sharing this place with us!

Stella’s best hideaway

It was exactly what we needed and wanted in our getaway. Beautifully set on the shores of Superior. Lots of room in the house and on the beach. Will definitely be staying here again! Sauna is perfect as well for a little unwinding. The sounds of the waves put me right to sleep at night

Family getaway

Perfect house for us, the in laws and other family. Plenty of room. Location is perfect and the views of Lake Superior are stunning. Our second time staying at Stella’s hideaway. Will be back again.

Loved our stay!

My partner and I (and our dog!) loved our stay at Stella's Hideaway! I truly can't recommend the house enough. The view of the lake is breathtaking and the shore access was a treat. We also loved being able to easily walk to the local park and park trail. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of space. The hosts have done an incredibly thoughtful job creating an inviting and memorable place. We hope to return sooner rather than later!

Peaceful lakefront property!

Keith was most helpful and accommodating, and even gave us the heads up on witnessing the most incredible northern lights show we’ve ever experienced! The sauna was peaceful and therapeutic, the views are amazing, and the Klask was epic! And the pups loved sniffing the freshest air on the planet.

The property is clean, offers stellar views of the gorgeous sunsets, and is the perfect destination for couples, friend groups, families, everyone! Perfect!

We had an amazing stay at Stella's Hideaway! Everything was just as described/pictured or even better. The master bedroom, den and living room have the most incredible views and who knows what the Lake will bring! We had complete stillness up to huge waves during our visit. So cool to watch the beach evolve. I would love know the story of the cars. So well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. Well stocked with essentials and more. It was easy to cook two dinners and most breakfasts during our stay. Just an all around, wonderful location. Can't wait for next year! Thank you so much!

Absolutely Amazing!

We have stayed here three times now and every time is just as amazing as the last. The owner of the property is very nice, accommodating, and very communicative. We just ended nine days up at the lake and got to experience snow, sun, and wind. The kids got to go outside and build snowmans, and then we walked the beach and picked rocks! There were a lot of trails nearby that we went hiking at and visited a lot of parks in the area. The cabin is comfortable and quiet and we loved hearing the waves crash on the rocks. We brought a lot of our groceries from home, and cooked every meal at the cabin, and there was everything that we needed for our family of 6. I would recommend this cabin to absolutely everyone, our kids range in ages from 8 to 13 and they had a blast! We already have the cabin booked for two times next year and we can't wait!

Stella's is always magical

Lots of room, great cooking supplies for making meals, access to the shore, kayaks and fishing poles, books and games for rainy days. We have been here multiple times, and it's honestly one of our favorite places

Great place, Great Views, Great Amenities

This place really does have everything. We didn’t need anything but it was so nice to know that the owner, Keith, lives right next door. Keith’s communications before we arrived were great. The place is cozy, even when the wind blows off of Lake Superior. The location is great right between The Calumet Waterworks and McClain State Park. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, crockpot, dishes and coffee bar. The extra little touches were so appreciated. This is a place that I would absolutely love to bring my family back to. Thanks Keith for sharing your place with us! We had such a great time!

Rocks, sunsets, northern lights and a polar plunge

This was a second stay at Stella’s Hideaway and the place feels like home. It’s fully equipped with everything you’d need and more. The beds are really comfortable and there’s enough of them to host a large crew. Incredible sunsets off Lake Superior and good rock hunting for agates and yopperlites. We even got a glimpse of Northern Lights. We will definitely be back! Thanks Keith for being a great host!
