This pet-friendly two bedroom/two bathroom home is designed for comfort and relaxation, with an open floorplan, cozy fireplace and expansive deck ideal for sunset viewing. Enjoy panoramic vistas of the ocean from the living area, bedrooms and the entire length of the deck!

When you enter this home, you are immediately welcomed into the open-concept living area. Unwind and relax while taking in the majestic, ocean scenery through the large, picture windows or wander onto the deck to watch the sun settle on the horizon. You will find both bedrooms downstairs as well as a full bathroom. You can access the lower deck from both bedrooms-- enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the morning with an incredible view. We also invite your fur babies, we accept dogs! Pet friendly AND ocean views? Can't beat it!

This home offers tranquility while being just moments away from Cambria’s charming downtown, renowned for its galleries, restaurants and local shops. Offering stunning, ocean views that will leave you breathless, this rental truly makes for the most memorable getaway!

Loved hiking at Fiscalini Ranch, cooking meals together, watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck and exercising our energetic pup at the local dog park. Small but significant improvement would be the addition of blinds in the smaller bedroom. Early sunrise and a full moon made for a bright bedroom in the wee hours.

Nice and quiet with great views

Nice enough but a few problems. 1. No sugar in house. 2. Both bedrooms had sliding doors with no shades or curtains, full moon and early morning sun. 3. Bedrooms shared one bath, the other bathroom is upstairs. 4. There are frying pans that don’t work on the induction cooktop. Should not be in the house, they are useless. Super quiet and nice views a plus. And close to town. Great walk in Fiscalini Ranch just north.

We greatly appreciated the updated kitchen. The new stove/ microwave are beautiful and very effectent. The appointments, dishes,glasses, utensils etc. are perfect. The addition of the new window coverings in living room and master bedroom are by far the very best improvement. This continues to be our favorite rental in Cambria. Our only suggestion is to continue with the window coverings in the guest room...one feels rather exposed with no shades. If the weather had been less gloomy we could have enjoyed the porch and bbq. Thank you again...

Incredible Ocean Views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow, this place really does have great views and sounds of the ocean!!! Several mornings I heard seals barking, and saw deer almost daily. It's close enough to walk to Fiscalini Ranch, about a mile, but it's mostly uphill coming home. Despite some issues, this is a great house!The information given to us about the WiFi was incorrect, but you can find the correct info on the Router downstairs in the Master Bedroom. Also, some of the appliances were too dirty and disgusting to use, but after washing/scrubing them thoroughly, we were able to use them. Only the living room, kitchen, and one bath are on the main floor, so if anyone has mobility challenges, this house is NOT for them. Both bedrooms are downstairs and the fold-out sofa is upstairs. Also, while it is pet friendly, there is no enclosed area. The house is nice despite the spider webs on the windows, the need for a new paint job, and the stains and tear in the carpet going down stairs. I really appreciated using the garage, and the ocean views are tremendous!!Word of caution. It took over a month to get my security deposit back and I am STILL waiting for a refund on the housekeeping fee. I was charged two fees ($175 x 2) for the month as the housekeeper was supposed to come after two weeks. She or he never came, and I have not yet received the refund. Breen Vacation Station (the booking agency) is very good about communication, but not so fast with refunds. Wouldn't allow payment through VRBO.I would cautiously recommend this house mainly because of the calming ocean views (no surf to speak of, just gentle lapping of the water) and central location providing easy access to beaches, wineries, Hearst Castle, Big Sur/Carmel, etc.

Amazing ocean views and beautiful sunsets off the deck

The location of the beautiful home in Cambria was complete with ocean views from the deck and amazing sunsets while barbecuing! I would rate the decks a 20 out of 10! Perfect for morning coffee, reading a book from their incredible library, or sharing a meal watching the sunset! The home had big windows and while inside you felt like you were outside too!! We did not mind the beautiful drive to Cal Poly for our son’s graduation! Hearing the ocean and feeling the ocean breeze is one of my other favorite memories as well as exploring the little town and visiting the ocean! I hope to return again very soon!!! The central coast is paradise!!! Not as much traffic as So Cal or San Fran and the perfect stop if visiting busy cities!

Cambria Rental - Best Ocean Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent, we would rent again! The house is very nice and in a good location - we enjoyed Cambria and Paso Robles. House was spotless. The view is good as advertised, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook including a nice induction stove. The bedrooms are below the main level (stairs down), and the office is above (stairs up). Heat worked did not try AC. Two nice bathrooms, good showers, good internet. Bring your netflix password. Our vehicle (Chevy Tahoe) did not fit into the garage, the driveway is short, and there is no street parking, but we were fine parking on an angle in the drive. The Breen manager was very nice and professional. All in all - great.

Property description was not acccurate

While the house is beautiful, it does NOT have a charger in the garage. It has a plug for a charger. But no one carries around a charging cable and without one you can't charge. We arrived at the residence with 24 miles on our Tesla and the closest supercharger was 30+ miles away in Paso Robles. We ended up going to a motel in town to charge for 4 hours at Chargepoint to get enough charge to get to a supercharger. In addition to this annoyance, the house was a bit dirty with animal hair, etc. Also it did not stock any type of amenity like coffee, shampoo, etc. The bathrooms had small hotel type soaps. Lastly the property management office asked us to come by and "sign a contract" but only had limited office hours, which, between having to charge and our tours scheduled at Hearst Castle, means we couldn't make it. But not sure why we'd have to again sign something? For the price we paid we expected more.

One was that the BBQ had no propane and the second was that the fire alarm in the master bedroom went off twice (there was no fire) including at 2am!
