Stopped at this motel for a one night stay.
In our room, there was a conjoining door that connected to the neighboring room. The conjoining door appeared to be sealed shut with a wall. We quickly found out this wasn’t the case.
Around 9/10PM at night, the people in the neighboring room to ours learned the conjoining door was not locked or sealed, & opened the door directly into our bedroom. There was now a complete stranger in my room, in complete shock just as I was.
Thankfully, the people in the conjoining room were kind & understanding. However, I want to stress how HORRIBLE this situation could have gone. My room could have been entered at any time of the night if this wasn’t noticed, leaving my own personal safety & belongings in danger. Anyone could have been on the other side of that door who would have free range to my room.
I do want to point out the staff was friendly, apologetic, & upgraded our room. However, this is the biggest safety concern I have ever encountered, or heard of, when staying in a motel. I would not recommend this place, & believe there are better options in Camden that I won’t leave you concerned about strangers entering your room.
