"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...
"This was a stopover on the way to local sights in Wales. The room was a bit disappointing. We didn’t find it super clean, the ceiling was low(top floor room), bathroom small, shower didn’t drain well… with that said it was quiet and the little restaurant was decent. We had dinner and the server was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. The meal was ok. We have stayed places much better for less. "
"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. Key to door jammed locking us in but staff so helpful . Needs a new lock. Would we stay there again? yes we would, outdoor bar, coffee and cake excellent and happy hour.
