The atmosphere on the property was very peaceful and relaxing. However, there were obvious gaps around the doors which allowed insects into the room and we came home with numerous bug bites.

It was great meeting and touring with owner. He was very helpful providing things we needed. The bedroom ac and pool were a bonus.The accommodations were basic and typical of a Costa Rican cottage.

Beautiful property, great location. Only thing is there is an ant problem and the rooms are very noisy at night coming from restaurants and bars until very late.

Rent a car and visit as much as you can. Driving is easy but you do need to watch for bikes, walkers, cows, etc. The paved roads are wonderful and the gravel roads need work but just drive slower and more cautiously and you will be fine.
