"The hotel is very well located, 10 minute walk of the train station, quiet and nice. The building is old Venetian charm offers a pretty courtyard. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. My only disappointment is that the bathroom did not provide a stand up shower, just a bath. When mentioned at the desk, I was told that I should have asked ....although there was no mention when I booked the room. The breakfast buffet is very generous!"

"The staff member, Lida? was her name I think. She is a lovely blonde girl who spoke great english and was so helpful with check in, directions, breakfast, holding our luggage and getting us to the airport by water taxi. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really terrific with lots of healthy options. The shampoo was a weird combo thing, so bring your own. The TV was only in Italian and it worked beautifully. Air conditioning was terrific."

"The location was great, we took the Alilaguna to Guglie and the walk to the hotel, even with bags, was a breeze. The buzzer at the door isn’t super clear that it’s for Antigo Portego but we buzzed the top button and we got connected and allowed in without issue. Samantha was communicative and met us in the entry then directed us to our room. There are not a ton of extras at this hotel but we were out and about all day so the room just needed to be clean, comfortable, and quiet — which it absolutely was. Would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Felt like everywhere in Venice was very close and walkable and I would say it took us about 15/20 min to get to the Rialto Bridge and Market and maybe another 10 minutes to get to the Basilica area from the hotel so things felt close but we weren’t in the thick of it when we wanted to come home."
