Obwohl wir am Vortag von Ebookers die Bestätigung fürs Zimmer erhalten haben, war kein Zimmer mehr frei. Der Besitzer hat uns vor Monaten telefoniert und wollte, dass wir direkt bei ihm buchen. Er werde Ebookers stornieren. Per Mail hat er uns bestätigt, dass er auch ohne Ebookers für uns ein Zimmer hätte. Dem war dann leider nicht so. In ganz Cannero gab es kein anderes freies Zimmer mehr und wir mussten in die Schweiz zum Übernachten!

Stand vor geschlossene Tür. Laut Telefonate mit der Hotelpersonal, könnte die mir kein Zimmer geben da ausgebucht war und hat angeblich gleich nach meiner Buchung bei Hotels.com storniert da es ein Fehler von hotels.com war. Von Hotels.com hatte ich ein Buchungsbestätigung email erhalten.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Seeblick

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten die Adresse zu finden, gab es eine sehr freundlichen Empfang. Unser Appartement in Seenähe war sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet und bot einen fantastischen Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Die kleine Küche war sehr sauber und ist auch mit den wichtigsten Utensilien ausgestattet, größer "Kochaktionen" sind jedoch nicht möglich. Das Frühstück haben wir uns selbst zubereitet und auf dem zwar sehr schmalen aber ausreichenden Balkon (mit Seeblick) eingenommen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Der Eigentümer war für uns jederzeit erreichbar und sehr bemüht.Wir würden dort wieder übernachten.

Paolo On loistava isäntä, arkkitehti joka on kunnostanut talon kokonaan, ja joka on hyvin vieraanvarainen ja avulias! Huoneista on upeat näkymät Canneron kattojen yli, paikka on todella kiva ja hinta-laatusuhteeltaan erinomainen. Suosittelemme!

Unser Kurzurlaub am Lago Maggiore

Aussicht vom kleinen Balkon tags und auch nachts besonders schön. Einrichtung einer alten Villa entsprechend gut angepasst. Dielen haben stark geknarzt. Vermieter sehr freundlich. Zum Frühstück leider nur aufgebackene sehr harte Brötchen bzw. Baquett und sehr eintönig.

Leider konnten wir noch nicht einmal einchecken, da das B&B überbucht war. Das haben wir allerdings nur erfahren, weil wir angerufen haben, um unsere Ankunftszeit mitzuteilen. Angeblich hat man uns eine Email geschickt mit dem Hinweis auf eine Umbuchung. Diese haben wir jedoch nie erhalten. Also mussten wir in einem anderen Hotel übernachten, das ein wenig teurer war und in dem es ausgerechnet an dem Tag kein warmes Wasser gab! So haben wir mehr gezahlt und nicht mal warm duschen können. Insgesamt ziemlich ärgerlich!

The best place we stayed for our entire trip!

Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. During breakfast we had a wonderful meal, and spent over an hour talking with Paolo about many interesting topics, from travel to politics. He is an architect and has done the renovation to this house himself, and is working on several other projects in this small but wonderful town. He has a great collection of wine that is available for purchase as well. Overall this was our favorite experience in all of our trip to Italy.
