We had a lovely stay at the abode. Hotel is located in a great location for exploring Canterbury. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. Some areas of the hotel looked like they needed a lick of paint but overall it was good value for money.

Friendly, extremely helpful staff made it a very pleasant stay. Room was comfortable, very clean. A bit noisy at night from outside sources, but it is city centre. Most of the night it was very quiet.

A lovely modernized medieval building. Wonderfully helpful staff, great room facing the Beany museum. On the first floor is a lounge very reminiscent of a Tudorish sitting room, beamed ceilings and all.

We were a bit disappointed by our stay - the room was a bit run down in places and the flush on our toilet stopped working on the first day. The hot water in the shower was a bit inconsistent too. On the first morning we were told there was no hot food for breakfast as there was no chef, so we had to go to a nearby cafe to buy breakfast.
