"Sanjeewa was very welcoming when we arrived. The hotel and rooms desperately need updating the tv didn’t work in our room, also the taps were loose and the holder for the shower was broken, however the bedding, towels were spotless and the hotel is in an excellent location. Breakfast was continental and was constantly topped up. Understand this is an old building but a bit of updating would make all the difference."

"Excellent accomadation!. Excellent food! Excellent staff! Paul,the ownwer and his top notch staff were very accomadating and went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of during our stay. Traditional pub and Inn in a great location in walking distance to Cantebury's attractions. Highly recommended."

"Best breakfast we had in the UK - great selection, try the croissants and yogurts. It gets busy but staff are all on it and friendly. Rooms have been updated, are originally from a time where things were still built sturdy and larger....very welcomed in the UK where rooms tend to be very small. I'll take larger over more "modern" any day! Clear, great cider selection and very nice outdoor back patio-garden area. Walking distance to Canterbury centre. Large, easy parking lot."

"Excellent property in side the grounds of the cathedral .perfect location . Breakfast was excellent. We were in an Annex room and 40 stairs to the room which we were already informed about .the room only had a fan which was absolutely useless in the heat .a portable air conditioner unit should be in the room.."

Broome Park Hotel

"Staff were very friendly and efficient. Hotel and my room always looked clean and inviting. Meals were tasty and well presented. If had to make a criticism it would be that there was no portable (temporary) air conditioning and the windows in my room (Charles 3rd) could not be opened. A large fan had thoughtfully been provided before my arrival but in the heatwave simply moved the hot air. Bar and restaurant staff were excellent and despite seeming to be switching between roles at times, there was never much of a wait. This was my first break in 2 1/2 years and was very relaxing. Would definitely visit again."
