The property was perfect. It was clean and equipped with everything someone needs for a comfortable stay. The host makes my little brother and myself feel at home. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a perfect spot to enjoy for vacation.

I stay in guest house all the time and this was by far the best one I have ever stayed in. The room and facilities were much better than any photo and described it. We were received with so much kindness and the host went out of his way to made sure everything was perfect. I will definitely return. I will give this guesthouse a ten star rating.

Ideal base for exploring the Western Cape

We booked a room for one night only, as a stop over for our trip up the West Coast the next day. We were pleasantly surprised. Port House is spotless and well positioned. Our host Graham upgraded us to a double room free of charge, and was very informative on local spots we could try for dinner. Our room was stunning, with TV, A/C, Wi-Fi and a huge en suite bathroom fitted with a big shower, double basin and a big bath. Although our stay was brief, it was so pleasant and comfortable that we will definitely return for our next, hopefully longer stay.
