"We had an amazing stay at the Royal Hotel Whitby. The room was amazing and beautifully furnished. Staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food and with high quality ingredients. This was the perfect place from which to explore Whitby. "

"We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . "The room was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed, bathroom was also spotless and again had everything needed The staff are friendly and made us feel welcomed from arrival. The only thing that could be made better would be an addition of a full drench shower because there was certainly room for one"

"Location was perfect . The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed . The bedrooms and bathroom were particularly large so we had lots of space and lots of cupboard space too. Loved the free standing bath ! "

"Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in."
