Lovely room

Good location for our needs, lovely bar downstairs, convenient for food. Several cafes and shops close by, and easy walking distance to Llandaff cathedral.

Great place to stay

We had a very comfortable stay at The Maltsters. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was very good - both breakfast and evening meals. Would definitely stay here again.

Recommended inn close to Llandaff Cathedral

Stayed one night at The Maltsters and was very happy with the experience. Clean and comfortable room, strong wifi, free parking, excellent evening meal and breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Great pub stay.

Wonderful pub in Wales with wonderful accommodation, great staff, and great food in the restaurant. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, with additional dining options nearby. This is what a pub-stay should be.

The Maltster's Arms is clean and comfortable. The area it is located in is really beautiful, with lots of historic buildings, nice little gift shops and excellent restaurants and cafes. I can highly recommend staying here.

Great hotel

A lovely comfortable stay, slept well in a comfortable bed. The bathroom was nice very spacious and clean. We had a nice meal and a very tasty breakfast, bonus point for Gluten free sausages. All staff were very friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Great stay and staff

The young girl who checked us in could not have been more friendly and helpful. Actually really impressive in her attitude and way she dealt with staff and customers alike. Lovely room. Were it my hotel I would put mattress toppers on the beds as they are a bit tired. Lovely breakfast.
