Great stay!!

Really lovely stay! Very friendly and welcoming team. The room was spacious, clean and there were loads of USB charging sockets. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

We can not fault our stay at Avlon House, everything was top notch. The property is very well maintained and decorated beautifully. The host was very friendly and obliging. Lots of choice for breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved our stay and would recommend.

Simply great.

Spotless with excellent facilities and lots of nice touches. From the gardens to the little clocks and all the paintings and antiques tastefully scattered around the house and grounds to the excellent cooking and helpful directions we could not fault the guest house. Excellent séjour ! Le personnel était adorable, Les suggestions pour visiter des endroits etait excellente et la chambre très grande et bien agencé ! Un peut bruyant avec la rue mais toute à fait correct et l'emplacement est très avantageux : A côté de la gare, pas très loin du centre-ville et d'un axes routier. Le petit-déjeuner vaut le détour avec sa diversité et pour un prix tout à fait correct Un exemple point de chute pour visiter la ville ou le comté de Carlow je recommande à 100%

Excellent B&B

My family and I visited Carlow for the Arts Festival. We stayed with the Avlon for two nights and had an excellent time. The hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. the rooms were large and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and the breakfast was more than excellent. There is a terrace at the back with BBQ facilities and a game room. I would gladly recommend this B&B to any traveller.

Overall a brilliant stay

Absolutely lovely house , so clean and everything you need , very discreet too . The breakfast served was lovely and again nothing too much trouble . The large rooms were great and extra size bed comfy x

This is a most delightful place to stay. The host is very hospitable. He was always prepared with suggestions to add to our day’s adventures. The Christmas decorations made it so warm and welcoming. The rooms are nicely furnished. It is very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Check out the Avlon first if staying in Carlow.

A warm, quiet, and pleasantly decorated room, plenty of hot water on tap in the attached private shower room, and a terrific breakfast made my stay very pleasant. Your room key also opens the front door so you can get back in if arriving back late at night. A downstairs sitting room is available for guests to get together and the staff are friendly. Next time I'm in Carlow, I'm not even going to check elsewhere. I'm going to book a room at the Avlon.

It was a great looking place that was just a short walk from a variety of great restaurants. We arrived later than we expected, but They were welcoming and got us situated in our room. Breakfast in the morning had a variety of fruits and pastries that started out a long day of driving for us well.
