Carrizozo is a nice quiet little town and has a wonderful downtown area with lots of interesting things to see and people to talk to.

This place was great! My kids LOVED it. The scenery was phenomenal! It was a fun little cabin that was 2 levels with balcony’s on both. It was a steep drive up and it would have been rough to get to if the roads were slippery in the slightest. The water pressure in the shower was left to be desired. ...

Everything was good, the only issue we had is that there was not hot warer at one point, however that issue was fixed promptly.

WE WERE COMING FROM PHOENIX, AND HEADING TO THE CARLSBAD CAVERNS. ADEQUATE STOP FOR THE NIGHT.
The little downtown area has a bunch of galleries and art studios. Nice to peruse!
Cafe good food, reasonably priced
