"Overall, this hotel served its purpose as an affordable overnight stop for travelers just passing through. The customer service was friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout the stay. I also appreciated that the security deposit was processed using the card already on file instead of requiring a separate transaction. Check-in itself was fairly quick, although some information still had to be manually re-entered despite booking through Expedia.
The biggest drawbacks were related to convenience and maintenance. There were no automatic entrance doors, which made moving luggage more difficult, and the carport area being blocked by bollards reduced unloading space even further. Clearer room-range signage at the beginning of hallways would also help first-time guests.
The room was generally clean, and the bed, carpet, AC, and lighting setup were all acceptable. I especially liked the multiple overhead lights and desk lighting. However, the property definitely shows signs of age. The bathroom layout was awkward, the curtains were damaged and would not fully close, there was debris left in the tub upon arrival, and the shower selector nozzle was broken even though the shower pressure itself worked well. There was also a loose phone cable across the floor.
Breakfast was average with biscuits and gravy, toast, cereal, mini waffles, milk, and fruit. I did not get a chance to test the WiFi during my stay.
Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for a budget overnight stay."
