"Nice hotel, quiet location and lots of restaurants around - hotel kindly provides a list by location which also has discount codes which was helpful! Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Sadly our aircon was broken so had to sleep with the windows wide open all night. Breakfast buffet was lovely and so was the outdoor pool and staff. "

"Property itself was beautiful but it’s so isolated, not any eating places nearby or places to walk, must use a car which is a big downer for me Additionally, I don’t think this hotel was worth the price. It doesn’t feel 4 star in experience, there’s no ac, and you have to leave the door open, the cleaning ladies did a rush job (which doesn’t feel nice or special) there’s no room service should you wish to sleep in and have breakfast All in all it was good but I wouldn’t go back "

"We had an amazing and relaxing stay, it was the highlight of our trip! The views were spectacular. A very unique experience with amazing staff and food as well as a great wine selection. Dinner on sight was delicious. The town Panzano near by was quiet but had lots of restaurants and a quaint feel to it. Also check out the winery close by that is recommended by the hotel. Note: the area is accessible by bus from Florence but we would recommend a car as you can check out the sights a lot easier."

"The pool was very nice overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The hotel has a nice ambience, rustic but very clean an updated. I like there were big windows that could open to a garden from the room. Getting around was a bit difficult even with a car. Very steep hills and is not so walkable. Very windy roads so it takes longer than expected to get to places. There are 2 nice villages very close by with different kind of restaurants. Barberino has stunning views. There is a walkable trail very close by a little creek but need to ask for directions, it's very secluded . The restaurant has really good food and service. Breakfast , very good, american style and italian.Perfect place for a honeymoon"

very nice place; quiet and peaceful; beautiful view

"We were very happy with this place. Mornings sitting in patio were very nice with a view over Tuscany. A bit far out which meant that if you needed to buy something the nearest grocery store was 15-20 min drive. Still location to sight sea around Tuscany was very good. could get to Florence in 1 hr, to Sienna in 35 min and around Chianti region easily."

"We loved our stay here! The scenery is beautiful. We felt like we were all by ourselves in a villa in the countryside, yet had the amenities of a hotel, which were greatly appreciated. The kids loved the addition of the ping pong table and dart board and loved the pool, but would’ve liked it even more if it had been heated. Then I’m not sure we would have been able to leave. "

Quiet and Beautiful Property, Large Pool, Airco in bedrooms

Nice Tuscany villa

"Erik, the host is very friendly and communications were timely & great. The housekeeper, Carolina (and her kids) were very helpful /responsive in the checkin, cleaning and checkout process. Thank you Erik for the villa.. we had a fun time! This country villa is spacious enough for the 8 of us, with individualized AC in bedrooms, and heater controls on each floor. The kitchen is well equipped and large for multiple cooks, dining space is great, and the balcony accomodates our Happy Hour (when it was sunny). The pool at the upper terrace is big but the cooler climate did not permit us much swimming. The outdoor space has nice terraced landscaped. Great backyard views of Tuscan hills and vineyards. We saw wild boars, deers, and a fox. Villa location is great, as it is a great base for all day trips to nearby Etruscan/Roman cities/towns in Tuscany, and there are many to explore. So many nearby great Chianti Classico wineries. Downtown Castellina and Panzano are about 10 minutes away, and are full of local shops and restaurants. People are very, very friendly. The 0.5 mile gravel driveway is steep at certain sections. May consider a SUV rental for high clearance. "

"The villa was a fantastic opportunity to get away from the hustle of city life. The local town was old world and friendly. The restaurant, La Toppa, was amazing. The owner of the restaurant & villa ands his family was very friendly, responsive and helpful. Wonderful stay in Tuscany. "
