Not so typical Andalusian village - Castellar is built inside a castle. It was abandoned in the 70s by locals who went to live in a new town outside the castle walls. Later abandoned buildings were occupied by German hippies. Now the village inside the castle is populated mostly by expats, artists and retirees. You only need an hour or two to explore the whole village with it's labyrinth of narrow streets, flowers, plants and cute little doors. #EndlessSummer #CastellardelaFrontera #Andalusia #Spain
