"Miguel ist ein wundervoller absolut zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Unser Urlaub als Familie im Casa Altavista war einer unserer besten. Die Alleinlage, das Panorama, der eigene Pool, Tischtennisplatte, das weitläufige Grundstück... - als hätte man eine große Ferienanlage für sich allein... Schafe, Hähne und Hunde waren als einzige Nachbarn zu hören. Der Weg ins Dorf war aber nah. Aber statt viel auszugehen war Grillen auf der Terrasse noch schöner. Alles hat gepasst. Kann gut verstehen dass unsere Vorgänger 4 Wochen blieben."

"The rooms are basic but very reasonably priced and very clean, with aircon and storage for clothes, just what you need! Breakfast at 6euros/person was lovely and served to you in your room. We ate out on our room balcony with breathtaking panoramic views of the castle and surrounding mountains. Lots of hot water, clean fresh towels (daily if required) and shampoo supplied. TV in the room and a full size fridge so you can easily self-cater if you are travelling on a budget. Rooms are so reasonably priced! Our hosts could not do enough for us very helpful, knowledgeable and informative. Hostal Duran is right at the edge of the bustling village, filled with cafe's, bars restaurants (tapas was a favourite for us) and shops. There is also a very clean outdoor public swimming lane pool and a leisure pool, with the fabulous mountains for a back drop at 2euros/person(cash only for the pool). A couple of parks for younger kids, a winery for the adults, a selection of clothes and souvenir shops, a local pharmacy and a high street bank. Great air conditioned direct train link to Malaga Central and a regular local bus service (cash only for the bus). Local taxi drivers are a fountain of knowledge. Andalusia is the home of flamenco steeped in history with hidden gems such as Alora, a must see!"

"Very clean place, very friendly and good communication by the host. Host was very hospitable with leaving snacks, water, juice and milk. Beautiful place in the most unique town of Alora that gives you a true feel of a small Spanish community."

"The swimming pool was amazing. The garden had different areas so good for finding the sun and we loved the bar and barbecue area.There was a big conservatory which allowed our party of 16 (8 adults 8 children) to enjoy a special meal in a spacious area."
