"Staff at desk—fabulous, especially Chiara. Location perfect. Roof top bar restaurant is excellent and a great experience Gym was not sufficiently air conditioned and a few times needed to have a technician come up to make it function. Breakfast buffet was adequate but not imaginative in selections; the room and bathroom are relatively small by US 4-star standards and the TV is not an operative smart TV"

"Great location, big room, great AC, comfy bed and quiet. Had a great night sleep. The only thing I didn't like was that when my room was cleaned, the lady sprayed an air freshener so strong that left me coughing for quite a while. Had to leave the windows open for hours. Please don't do that! But I would definitely stay here again."

"Hotel was well situated to get the bus into Catania or walk if feeling fit! Our room was nice, comfy bed but had issue with ants! Hotel came to deal with them immediately but they were still quite a lot in the room and bathroom. We also had a blocked sink which again they dealt with. Breakfast was typically European with nice pastries, cakes were pretty tasteless though and scrambled eggs were often cold which wasn't great. Restaurant had good food, very tasty but pricey; €18 for a pretty bland mozzarella and tomato salad Overall we'd give it 3.5 stars."
