The room was passably clean, but shoddy, the curtains were missing a few holders, the TV remote was missing, and the staff brought me another remote, but he was scavenging other rooms for it, and it took a couple of visits to get it up and running. I heard that other rooms had problems with their TVs and remotes. It's an older property with two floors and indoor stairs, which i had to bring my large suitcase up. I'd booked it thru Expedia, but I didn't check the description well enough, I can't blame Expedia (yet) for misrepresenting it, as there is another larger, newer Motel 6 within a block nearby which i think I was expecting. Check the photos. The Staff (one person at a time) was helpful and kind. Cleanliness was Ok but I don't think the floor was cleaned or mopped. The window was openable, but with a bit of difficulty as it smelled like a chemical like bleach (not sure what it was) but seemed to be coming from the sheets. They cover a fleece blanket with sheets under and on top of it, but I don't feel like they wash the blanket. The pillows were fluffy enough, but the smell was strong, and if you don't like chemical smells, well, don't go here. I had made the reservation in advance of an airport flight, and couldn't change it at the time I arrived. I called a Yellow cab to get me to the airport the next day.

The staff was welcoming. Room was clean. The bathtub was spotless. The atmospher as a whole was much much better than approx a yr ago. (Much safer) You can walk to your room without getting a contact high.

The hotel and room were great. When I found I had been upgraded to a room that I didn't expect, the front desk person assured me that I would only be charged for what I had paid for through Expedia. Regarding the staff and the room, I was very satisfied. However, I had a late flight in (checked in after midnight) and was expecting a restful night and to sleep in a bit. But about 4-5am-ish, a guest's dog began barking every few minutes until about 8am. I think it was the staff's responsibility to locate and interface with the owners to quiet the dog and so help assure the comfort of the other guests. Also, there were loud voices continuing in the hallway at about this same time. If it hadn't been for that dog and no (apparent) attempt to quiet it, everything would have been great and without complaint. I would choose this hotel again. It is an affordable option and a convenient distance from the airport for a one-night stay.
