Relax and Enjoy our Cape Cod Getaway!!

Recently renovated 3bed/2bath home – private, comfortable, sunny & spacious. Central AC and WiFi included. Perfect for a family vacation, romantic getaway, peaceful retreat, or a trip with the girls!

A short walk to Craigsville & Covell Beach! **Includes a FREE BEACH PASS** that is valid at all beaches, lakes, and water ways in Barnstable. See Beach/Pond list here: http://capecodonline.com/beaches/barnstable/

The house is located on a quiet side street, very close to the beach (10-15 min walk). On the way to the beach, you pass a general store & pizza shop. Across from the beach is an ice cream shop, and some delicious fried seafood! It’s a short drive to Hyannis with many restaurants, shops, nightlife, a ferry to the islands, and bike rentals. Close to the Cape Cod Melody Tent, Cape Cod Hospital, mini-golf, and the Kennedy compound. Take a day trip to the National Seashore, wineries, Provincetown, or take the kids to the Drive-In theater in Wellfleet. Or just relax in the central air and BBQ in the back yard!

Downstairs: Bedroom 1 (Huge, sunny master bedroom with a brand new comfy king size bed). Open floor plan with brand new kitchen including 4 stools and a kitchen table that seats 5+. Living room with comfortable seating, flat screen TV, and a large fireplace. Full bath.

Upstairs: Bedroom 2 (brand new pillowtop queen mattress), Bedroom 3 (includes a bunk bed and a day bed with a trundle – sleeps 4. Another full bath.

Outdoors: Back deck with dining table and seating for 6, BBQ grill, outdoor shower, fire pit. Large, private and grassy backyard for the kids to play.

Additional items included: a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, and small appliances (toaster, blender, coffee machine, etc); a washer/dryer, iron & ironing board, bed linens, bath & beach towels!

It’s a perfect spot for summer fun, but the Cape is also beautiful in the fall, winter and spring!!

Great family getaway!

The location was great, about a mile walk to the beach and very quiet. Nice patio area with large yard, grill and outdoor shower. Very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The beach pass is such a great added benefit. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return!

Perfect family house

4 adultes et 4 adolescents... la maison est spacieuse et très bien conçue pour les familles. Beau grand terrain extérieur donnant sur une toute petite rue très calme. La Craigville Beach est à environ 5 minutes en vélo, 20 minutes de marche et et quelques minutes en voiture. Le secteur est très joli et paisible, il n'y a pas beaucoup d'action aux environs puisqu'il s'agit surtout de résidences privées ou de tourisme. Les seuls points négatifs : Il manquait plusieurs items à notre arrivée : serviettes, linge de vaisselle, débarbouillettes, drap, pas assez de papier de toilette, aucune pôle pour accrocher les serviettes humiques. Comprehension difficile du systeme de climatisation.... Nous avons tout de même senti la bonne volonté de la propriétaire, gentille.

Wonderful Cape House!

We loved the property, amenities, the close proximity to our favorite Covell Beach, and the yard for kids to play in. It was an exceptional week of fun and relaxation- the house met our expectations and provided everything we needed! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Inhospitable

This house is relatively clean. The central air conditioning works great! The beach “can” be a 15 minute walk, but if you’re carrying chairs, coolers, umbrella, etc. that would be a very difficult walk. Fortunately, the beach pass allows for free parking. It’s about a five minute drive. The home location is remote. A short drive down a couple of private bumpy roads. Not too much of a view except for the neighbors fences. A good size backyard with a barbecue grill makes up for that. This house is set up to accommodate seven people. We found the amenities to be pretty skimpy with everything counted out, trash bags, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, etc. good thing there were only two of us! There were only 5 pillowcases for 7 pillows and no extra bed linens at all!! Only two hand towels, and two dish towels in the entire house. No soap of any kind in the showers. The cleaners are instructed to take everything so there are no leftover condiments, etc. only a few spices. Be prepared to buy pretty much everything. We have rented through VRBO 18 times in the past. The absence of basic household provisions demonstrates the owners lack of understanding of hospitality.

Great Location

This house was great for our family of four with two adult sons. Plenty of room, very clean and well stocked. This was our first trip to Cape Cod. I was overwhelmed deciding where to stay until I found this house. The location mid cape was great and the beach pass to Covell Beach was a nice perk. We are from PA and our sons now live in Vermont and Delaware so this was a great place to meet for a week. The area is beautiful and I would highly recommend this house!

Our home away from home - just perfect!

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andrea's house this past September. The house was very clean, comfortable and had all the necessary comforts of home (ie) central air, dishwasher, stocked pantries, pots/pans etc., as well as beach chairs & blankets (which came in handy many times at the local beach (Craigville). I've marked the house as a Cape Cod favourite for when we're back again. Staying at Andrea's house made our vacation perfect!

Beautiful in Centerville

The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. We loved that the master was downstairs and the bunk room was upstairs. Since our stay was during the heat advisory, the central air was fantastic. Nice house, clean, very close to the beach. Appliances A/C all worked fine. Large deck and yard, plenty of parking. Minor item is to check w landlord on supplies such as paper goods, soaps, spare towels. Need your own beach buggy and probably want your own chairs.

Hidden Gem

House was just lovely. It was modern, immaculate, centrally located and had all the amenities you’ll ever need in a beach house. Beach is a 2 minute drive, water is warm and a great place for families with clean bathrooms and a snack bar across the street. The beach pass was a great perk and access to beach chairs, toys and a beach umbrella really made the packing process that much easier. The convenience of not having to bring beach towels or bedding and having the washer and dryer available for use was beyond helpful. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious and having cable and a great internet connection was appreciated. Location was perfect; we visited Chatham, Barnstable, Yarmouthport and Hyannis and all are a short drive away. You won’t be disappointed and just simply plan on having a great vacation if you book!

Lovely, commodious home in excellent, central location

We've rented many times through VRBO and others and this property was a lovely find. The house itself is spacious and welcoming, with a large kitchen island we ended up spending a lot of our time at, to the gracious living room, calm and soothing decor, and fabulous AC (important in July!) The wifi was also awesome, something you don't always get on the Cape. The location was perfect; just minutes from the beach, stores, restaurants and shopping. We loved the central location as we spent a day in Ptown, a day in Falmouth, etc and this was a good home base in the middle! Andrea was a lovely host, quick to respond to messages, friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend this as a go-to spot on the Cape!

Summer Rental

House was nice and owner responded quickly. Disappointed that we were not advised about road construction that was going on (and had been for a year). Underwhelmed with the beaches and the area in general.

Nothing but good things to say

House was clean and had all the essentials. Andrea was a pleasure to work with! Beach was walkable distance although the beach pass made driving an easy option. Centerville has all you need in easy access and Hyannis was a short drive away for fun shopping, restaurants and access to ferry to the Vineyard. If we plan a stay in the area again, we would book in a second.

Beautiful house and great location to beaches

The house is absolutely beautiful. It's perfect rental and Andrea is great, but just be careful if you have a good size boat since the roads are a little narrow.

Our experience was great! (4 adults and 2 children). House was relaxing and comfortable. Newer remodel -which was efficient and comfortable. Outdoor shower was nice -especially after using the fire pit and playing in the backyard. Andrea and her dad were very responsive to emails. Overall a great experience!

Incredibly clean and great for young families!

We spent a week in August at this beautiful, spacious home. My two toddlers loved it and had plenty of space indoors and outside to play. The amenities are great - fully equipped kitchen, awesome deck, BBQ, huge yard, outdoor shower and fire pit for s'mores! The fact that bedding (including pillows) and towels are provided was a huge help. So close to the beach and the parking pass saved us $20 each day. Close to lots of restaurants, shopping, Main Street in Hyannis, and more. I highly recommend this home and we hope to return!

Perfection!!!

I feel like a prospector who has discovered the real Mother Lode and is hesitant to share it. This cottage comes with everything. Comfortable and Immaculate!

There were four adults and one 10 year old. The house was perfect for all of us. We were impressed with all the amenities that were provided. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and inviting. The decor was pleasing and gave a real relaxed vibe. Location was perfect to travel the cape or spend time at the beach. Our daughter especially enjoyed the area because she spent so much time at Craigville and Sandwich with her grandparents. Parking was very plentiful and backyard great for any outdoor games. We didn't make use of the deck or grill but it surely was inviting. The biggest plus of all central air!!!!! Thank you Andrea for this lovely property, hope we can use it again.

Relaxing home with great location

We were not as lucky with the weather during the Memorial weekend, BUT the house was a joy to relax in and spend quality time with a close group of friends. We had everything we needed and already were making plans to come back another time! The house was very clean and has been updated recently and overall nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.
