"This is a resort style hotel. The lobby, dining room, bar are spacious, the room and bathroom were also large and spacious. I believe most if not all rooms have a balcony. There is a new and old section to the hotel. The new section has larger more modern rooms but sacrifices the view of Tomar Castle and the Convent of Christ. Parking is available for a fee. The indoor pool is beautiful. Breakfast nice and a cut above most of the other hotels we stayed at in Portugal. The staff was very delightful, and I really enjoyed talking to the young bartender in the evenings. We had a sudden ant infestation in the bathroom by the exterior window, so the staff promptly rectified the problem by relocating us a new room. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful."

"One of the best hotel experiences ever! The breakfast was wonderful and the location perfect for us. While the property was lovely, the entire staff was welcoming and beyond helpful. The airline lost my luggage and when I was having no luck in getting them to follow up, Marina (sp?) stepped in and took control of the situation. This was a great relief for me and allowed me to enjoy my time there without the added stress."

"The property is stunning!!! The views are indescribable - you have to see for yourself to really experience. Traveled with group of 6 - late 50s, early 60s (good physical shape overall)....I will say that there are TONS of steps to get anywhere and if you are unable to do a lot of steps (I mean TONS) - this is not the property for you. If you are able to do steps you have to see this place! One thing that I'll remember is Eduardo helping us check in saying "this is your home for your stay.....treat it as such and enjoy all that the property offers"......The snack bar is meh. The breakfast buffet more than satisfying...."
