"Nino and Ariana were super welcoming and charming. They made sure our stay was very comfortable and gave us a very personal service. The apparent was gorgeous and clean. We woke up to a beautiful view on the rooftop terrace where we had our coffee. Wifi signal did not work very well and the shuttle service was not free but they still accomodated us and went above and beyond to help us get to our car rental. We really appreciated their hospitality and we will be back for sure."

"The hotel/rooms are very clean, spacious and fantastic sea views. The beds were comfy, bathroom was modern and there is a small fridge. The decoration is a bit dated but given how clean everything is, it adds to the charm of an authentic Italian hotel. There were only Italian TV channels if you want to watch TV on holiday which we didn’t. Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy or lots of choice, very Italian with the huge cake and sweets selection. Bread was fresh and very good. No cooked food except bacon and scrambled eggs. Salad, cheese/ham, yogurts. It can get noisy at night with the entertainment (not sure if all rooms are the same, ours was sea view and next to the nightly dancing place), but at least the music was oldies, Italian, tangos, etc. so no bass/boom boom type music. I found I could sleep if the window was closed. My only negative point would be the beach. It’s crowded, and gets dirty with cigarette butts, plastic, etc. People seem to leave rubbish behind everywhere. It was also VERY noisy, constant music from 9:30 to 18. I appreciate some people like this but I want to relax on the beach and listen to the sea, I don’t need constant loud lively music. The sea however was beautiful and warm, which saved the beach experience. Unfortunately, most of the beach are concessions so there is nowhere else to go. Most guests were Italian which added to the authentic Italian feel."

"Despite a very late arrival in the middle of the night, the pre-arranged airport transfer was waiting, and both the driver and the Receptionist were incredibly helpful and cheerful. The guesthouse itself has nice rooms with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and charming balconies. The air-conditioning was great, the Location was quiet and very handy for the airport And buses the next day. All in all, highly recommended."

"Definitely it is a Hideaway spot. Located on top of a hill in a very quiet town. We had great experience stayed. Place is clean and big accommodation. Newly built hotel and still building more rooms and you won’t even know or hear them working. We decided to stay here bec. it’s in the middle of places we wanted to go. Planned to go to Palermo one day and Trapani the next day. Hotel is right next to a store where you can get any necessities that you need. Also, some restaurants near the place to if you ended up coming back late from exploring the nearby cities. I will definitely will come back and stay here in the future."

"Fabulous Stay. Gaetano and Mary were more than hospitable. They treated us like family. We enjoyed the cooking class that Gaetano arranged and recommended and the food was excellent. The restaurant recommendations were spot on. If anyone is looking for a 3 bedroom with a pool, relaxing and quiet place, Villa Buffa is the place to be. We will be back. Thank you again Gaetano and Mary for sharing your home with us. Rating is a definitely a 10/10. Actually 10 is more appropriate."

"Very nice apartment. We stayed for one night before our flight but will consider staying longer next trip. Also, close proximity to Palermo Airport by cab and walking distance to town. Parking is on the street but we managed ok. Great communication with the owner!"
