The Location:
Apartment Biolay is in a great location in Chamonix. It is under a ten minute walk to the town centre but away from the noise in a quiet, residential spot. The apartment is around the corner from the Planards beginner ski slopes and the luge which is open year round and great entertainment for all ages. In the summer the Planards area becomes a children’s amusement park. The Montenvers train station, which takes you up the mountainside to the famous Mer de Glace is also just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. In conclusion, Apartment Biolay is a great spot for small groups and families who would like to be close to the action of Chamonix, but in a quiet spot.

The Details:
The apartment is located over two floors with a private entrance on the ground floor. There is an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with TV and DVD player and wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, coffee machine and fridge-freezer. Also on the ground floor there is 1 double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with bath & WC. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and Bedroom 3 has one set of bunk beds, sleeping 2 guests. From this bedroom there is a patio door leading out to a shared terrace. The first floor bathroom is accessed from the corridor and has a shower, basin & WC. There is also an area for storing skis and kit. Externally, there is a shared, a utility room with washer/dryer and a designated parking space to the front of the building.
What’s Included:
Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.
Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Travel apartments.
