Located in possibly the most enviable location in Chamonix, with garden overlooking the river Arve and facing Mont Blanc, and in the middle of all the shops, restaurants and bars, Pothecary apartment is one of our most popular apartments in Chamonix. It is is extremely spacious at 120 sqm, with a huge living room including 3 full size sofas and two matching armchairs, a newly installed modern kitchen, an entertainment area with 43 inch flatscreen TV (Sky TV, surround sound, DVD player etc) and an ipod dock, Fibre internet access and a second TV and DVD player too. Pothecary apartment has 3 good sized bedrooms (one double, one twin / king bedroom and a 3rd twin bedroom ) as well as one of the sofas in the living room which converts into a sofabed in the living room, therefore sleeping 8 people very comfortably. The sunny, private garden of this apartment in Chamonix backs onto the river and has table and chairs and splendid views of Mont Blanc. If you want to be slap bang in the middle of town but have your own private terrace, and secure parking, plus stay in a truly spacious accommodation, then Pothecary apartment is the perfect retreat for you.

The Potherary apartment was lovely. It was really comfortable and well equipped right in the centre of Chamonix. Chamonix All Year were an excellent agency and were completely available during our stay for any queries. The garden had a stunning view of Mont Blanc and nice garden furniture for drinks/meals outside.

We stayed with a family of five, and the apartment served us well during our stay. The location was excellent and views from the garden terasse magnificent. Spacious living room provided opportunities for relaxing, and kitchen was equipped with all necessary utensils. Also washing machine was useful.

We stayed in Pothecary for 6 nights and the instructions from CAY for check in were excellent. We had previously booked another place outside Chamonix but had to change our travel plans and when I emailed CAY this was no problem, they sent me a list of alternative accommodation and transferred the deposit. The apartment is in a fantastic location just off the main street, but at the back of the building so the only sound you can hear at night is the flow of the river Arve. It has a private garden with outdoor furniture and the view of the mountains and Aguille du Midi is one you would never get tired of. The apartment was spacious with a well stocked modern kitchen. While the sofas were old and well worn as one reviewer commented they were extremely comfortable. It has 3 bedrooms, one quite small but the other 2 were a good size. Beds were comfortable enough. Because it is an old building the sound proofing was great we never knew if there was anyone staying above us as there was not the typical noises from other guests when staying in newer accommodation with thinner walls and floors. It had 2 bathrooms one with shower and one with bath and toilet and also a separate toilet in laundry room. The double doors in the kitchen area leading to garden opened inwards and this was a bit tight with kitchen counter but thats just a minor detail. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay in Pothecary and would recommend it due to its location, spaciousness of living area and quietness, a real jewel in the centre of Chamonix.

We've visited Chamonix for 10 years for the race UTMB. We've stayed with ChamonixAllYear for quite a number of years with excellent service. During the Covid pandemic they were more than understanding to our inability to travel. The apartments have all been top class, Pothercary having to be one of the best. Its truly spacious even having a television area away for the main living area. The outside space was a wonderful addition. The kitchen well equipped with good quality products. Bedrooms spacious and very comfortable. One small quibble, the bathroom/shower rooms were clean with plenty of storage, but just a little 'tired'. All in all a brilliant apartment we hope to use again.

Our stay at Pothecary apartment was a very comfortable stay. The place is as advertised, very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and amazing location. It is a very quiet unit yet the minute you leave the building you are on the main street, 2 min walk to Casino, Picard and the shops. The slopes are a 10 min enjoyable walk, you could drive too. The kitchen is well equipped, our previous experiences have been with owners of apartments equipping their kitchen with left overs from their own homes. This was not the case at Pothecary, the plates, cups, wine glasses, cutlery pots and pans were all new, and matching, which reflects a level of detail that we appreciate. The only suggestion is to update the upholstery of the couches. They are very comfortable but the fabric is showing signs of wear and tear. Truly this is the only suggestion we have. We look forward to staying there again next year, and working with Chamonix All Year.

The location is quite possibly the best in Chamonix. The flat is very comfortable with plenty of living space, great outdoor area, fantastic views of the Mt Blanc and easy access to everything in town. Highly recommend!

We visited Chamonix for the first time and the apartment booked through Chamonix All Year was fantastic. The location was terrific; everything necessary for our stay was easy to access and the apartment was extremely comfortable. The staff at Chamonix All Year were also terrific and readily helped with our inquiries and activities before and during our stay. I would definitely book with them again on our return to Chamonix!

A great base for a summer holiday in Chamonix. Apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Garden was a great bonus - we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening admiring the view of Mont Blanc. Kids were very pleased with the massive TV! Quiet and peaceful despite being in the town centre and within a few minutes walk of many restaurants and shops including supermarket, Aiguille du Midi and Brevent lifts, and Mer de Glace train. We had driven to Chamonix, but barely used the car all week.

The first thing that I have to say is that Millie met us right on time and was very professional helping us check in. In fact, she arranged for us to check in earlier and put our food in the fridge. We really enjoyed working with Chamonix All Year, they are legit. This unit is in the heart of downtown Chamonix which is great, you can pretty much walk everywhere in a few minutes. The views from Mont Blanc and the river are gorgeous. The kitchen has been redone and it's really well equipped. The unit is comfortable, the TV works great, etc... The condo needs a sun shade or umbrella outside in the patio so you can use the outdoor table as it gets really sunny and too hot in the summer months. The condo absolutely needs a grill so you can enjoy the little private garden. In my opinion the condo is a little bit dated and if they remodeled it, it would be a stunning property. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed our second stay at the Pothecary apartment. It was perfect for our family group of six. We love the location in the centre of town with a view of Mont Blanc from the patio. After spending several years on ski holidays many spent in the lovely town of Chamonix we decided due to 2 very special birthday's we would gather the family 9 in all to celebrate and enjoy everything Chamonix has to offer. We chose the company of "Chamonix all year" after much research as the company we wanted to arrange our booking and the excellent large apartment of "Pothecary" was chosen as our base for 7 of our party our other 2 family members stayed at a nearby hotel, we were not disappointed by anything really apart from perhaps we did find the bedrooms on the small size in comparison to the rest of the apartment the location could not be better right in the middle of town but very quiet, lovely views next to the river and a garden to enjoy. The Chamonix valley can cater for all standards of skiers from beginners to the "don't follow me I'am mad lot" and even for anyone who cannot as there is plenty to do, a trip on the little train up to "Mer de Glacé" to see the ice cave, luge rides at "Planards" or just going for a walk to enjoy the mountains. Finally a big thank you to the "Chamonix all Year " team for everything we really enjoyed our "Family Gathering" and will be back!!!!

The Pothecary apartment is located within walking distance of everything, yet is set back & feels very peaceful, especially with the river flowing at the bottom of your garden with an amazing view of Mont Blanc! The apartment was fully equipped & had ample heating, especially as it was -10 degrees outside! The Chamonix All Year staff were all amazing and helped us with our various requests. I would recommend this apartment as it is exactly what it says in the advertisement, is good value for money & is excellently located. I would also recommend highly booking through Chamonix All Year & I am sure I will book again in the future. Thank you for making it a truly lovely holiday.

The Pothecary Apartment from Chamonix All Year is an absolute gem. Superbly situated in the heart of the town centre close to all the restaurants and shops. It is spacious and cosy at the same time. Rooms are all of a good size and the large living area is great for groups. Being next to the river with its own outdoor space is just the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in the centre of Chamonix.

We stayed at Pothecary for a long weekend in February. It is very centrally located, just a few steps away from the Main Street in Chamonix near to bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment is well equipped, with a large open plan lounge and kitchen, two bathrooms and a separate loo (with washing machine). In the summer it would be lovely to sit outside on the patio which overlooks the river. Really comfortable and central apartment.

A beautiful apartment.Bang in the centre of town,beside the river l Arve looking towards Mont Blanc.Apartment is open plan and very spacious. The well equipt kitchen that has doors to take you out to the private garden is great to chill in after a day in the mountains.Everything that Chamonix has to offer is less than a stone throw away,shops.restaurants.cafes bars and much more.Don,t be mistaken and think this would be a noisy apartment ,it is unbelievably quite with only the river l Arve to listen to .The service from Chamonix All Year was excellent,can,t find any fault here.We will certainly return as soon as possible,highly recommend.
