"Overall we were disappointed in our stay here, especially for as much as we paid. The service was poor- our room was not ready when we arrived, we had to ask multiple times for things like drinks or towels, there was no one at the desk to help us book a cab, etc. Compared to other placed we visited on the island, the staff here didn't seem to care about providing a good experience for their guests. The food was fine, but several items on the buffet ran out, and dessert was served with plastic wrap draped over it. It did not feel like a luxury meal. The dining experience overall was lackluster. The room was also adequate, but had several broken elements, the Wifi kept going in and out, Netflix didn't work, and the staff was unwilling/unable to help with any of it. Also, they didn't have chairs down at the beach, and we had to figure out how to get chairs to relax. Overall it was a very disappointing experience for as much as we paid for our stay, and I would NOT recommend it to others."

"The description is perfect host are fantastic You can hear the waves pound in the beach while you sleep. AC was great. Breakfast was scrumdiddlyumptious close to the airport can see the waves breaking on the beach highly recommend"

"The stay was cozy and the property is situated right on the beach with the breeze calming you all the time around. We rented the studio apartment and the bed was super comfy. The room was clean and well equipped ...enough to cater you for a week. The bathroom had hot water available all the year around. The only issue was the toilet flush , but it was manageable. We flushed twice. There were beach and normal towels provided and information was available to get around Barbados . The best thing was the host.. we had a late evening flight back to London and the host allowed us to stay for a late checkout without any qualms of charges. We requested and he absolutely made sure it happened. The stay has the attached resort bar with happy hours, amazing drinks and good music over the weekend. The fish cutter and the mahi mahi grill were delicious! Thanks a lot for all the effort and hosting this amazing stay. It's pristine, secluded and absolutely what a beach vacation means . "

"We had a wonderful stay at the “Jones Villa”. The owner and house keeper were extremely helpful and super friendly, even going as far as help setting up a car rental. There is a beach a short walk away and several small places to get food around. Highly recommend for your trip to Barbados"

"If you're looking for a Caribbean hideaway removed from the hustle and bustle of Bridgetown and the more popular beaches, Inch by Inch is the ideal place to stay. Situated on a cliff, the property has an enormous garden with views of the sea that are straight off of a postcard. The pool is just the right size, immaculately maintained, and kept at the ideal temperature for a refreshing cool-off after a day of sightseeing. The living room is open on the seaward side, allowing you to feel connected to the island even when you want to get out of the sun for a bit. All three bedrooms are air conditioned and very comfortable. Bluescape were a joy to work with. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the staff really went out of their way to make this a memorable holiday."

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. I had to advocate for myself and explain that I had a valid confirmation number and nowhere else to go. To her credit, she ultimately found a solution — another couple who had also booked that day agreed to share their two-bedroom unit with me, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience left me uneasy. When I asked for a glass of tap water, I was told she didn’t have any and was offered a bottle of water for $2. I explained I was running low on cash since I hadn’t planned to still be in Barbados. She eventually did give me a bottle of water, but the fact that her first instinct was to charge a stranded traveler for water was off-putting. Everything worked out in the end, but the process was stressful and unwelcoming. If you’re booking here, just know that there may be a disconnect between what the booking system reflects and actual availability — and that the hospitality experience may be inconsistent. Future travelers should keep that in mind. "
