Nice beach hotel for families just outside Chania

Decent hotel, next to a nice beach, just outside of Chania. Clean and proper rooms, ours with a terrace facing the sea, views only partly distracted but the hotel itself and the road just next to it. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Rooms are close to each other, small pool (2 pools), so it gets a bit crowdy and “loud”.

Great stay at Forum Suites!

Our family of 9 enjoyed our stay at Forum Suites this summer! The property is well maintained with a lot of privacy between all the rooms. The rooms are large with all amenities and very comfortable beds. Everyone who works there was great and you could see they take an active interest in ensuring their guests have everything they need and enjoy their stay. The only opportunity for improvement is the breakfast buffet - although it very fresh - it could use a few more options from day to day. I would certainly recommend this place and we would love to come back!

Ci siamo trovati molto bene in questa struttura. Ottima pulizia, camere spaziose e letti comodi, personale molto gentile. Unico neo condizionare un po’ rumoroso. Ma abbiamo risolto lasciando la porta del terrazzo un po’ aperta e utilizzando la ventola a soffitto. Appena fuori dalla città di Chania (raggiungibile anche grazie al bus che passa ogni 10 minuti) è una base perfetta per le spiagge più belle. Se non si ha voglia di prendere l’auto si può usufruire della spiaggia di fronte oppure della piscina all’interno del residence. Lo consiglio.

Merci pour tout

Nous avons eu un super prix en réservant 3 mois à l'avance et hors été. Le check-in est à 14h mais la chambre étant dispo, nous l'avons eu à 11h. Situé à 15min de la canée, l'hôtel dispose d'un restaurant, d'une salle de sport, d'une bibliotheque et d'un mini market et n'est pas loin de la plage. Les chambres sont grandes, propres, avec une kitchenette, tv avec Netflix et un balcon comprenant un sèche linge. Le petit dejeuner est variée et très bon, ouvert de 8h à10h30. Mon amie partait pour Santorin à 5h du matin et il lui ont préparé un sac pour le petit dej. Tout le personnel est très courtois, serviable et attentionnée. Vraiment merci pour tout. L'hôtel merite 4 étoiles !

Das Hotel war in einem guten Zustand und insgesamt sehr sauber. Zu einem schönen Strand waren es über die Straße nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß. Sehr positiv auch die Haltestelle des Stadtbuses nach Chania.

Views were not as expected!

If you are looking for a hotel on the beach, this is not. The beach is across the street, mostly hidden by trees, bushes and flowers. Sophia at the morning buffet was delightful. She always greeted you with a smile. Very disappointed with views that I was expecting .

Very clean and looks all new. This is pritty high end resort. Also, food is excellent and well presented. The beach is accross the road, but very close. The beach is managed by not so high level company. We went to other beaches.

Modern hotel, well built and well maintained. Our room (Garden View studio, number 213) seemed to be one of the best in the hotel, because it had a shady and private balcony with nice greenery - some of the other rooms seemed much less private. The room itself was well designed and furnished - very clean and pleasant. While there is a beach opposite the hotel, there is a much nicer beach about 8 minutes walk to the west. There is a bus at the door to take you the short distance into Chania old town, which is lovely. Really the only downside was the fact that the hotel imposed charges for things that ought to have been included in the room rate - 10 Euros for use of the safe in the room!! and an extra charge for pool towels! This just seemed mean and very poor policy.

PARFAIT !

séjour d'une semaine en famille dans cet hôtel en Août. Bien situé, en bord de plage au calme, nous ne voulions pas être au centre ville de La Canée. Si pas de voiture, arrêt de bus devant l'hôtel. Très propre, le ménage est fait chaque jour, l'extérieur très bien entretenu. Les photos sont conformes. Les appartements très spacieux et bien agencés. Petit bémol : pas assez de vaisselle mais c'est un détail. Le personnel est très sympathique aussi bien à l'accueil qu'au restaurant. Le petit déjeuner pas très varié mais très acceptable. La piscine est agréable. Le room service est très pratique, même tarif qu'au restaurant sans supplément. En conclusion, on recommande !

This is my second visit to the Forum Suites, it was great to see that they had continued to refurbish the rooms. Additionally, the staff are always so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Booking taxi's, tickets for the bus and recommending local restaurants.
